Police man next door works south side and they have squads of police trying to break up house parties every night
Particularly in the high flats.

100s going on all over Glasgow by all accounts.

He thought it would be quiet but says its worse than having to police the normal pub closing time rabble.

Does this mean that Glasgow will ruin it for everyone?

Outer Banks was an easy enjoyable watch - think goonies meets the OC

Gangs of London is terrific

The rest mentioned we have already watched apart from the latest Money Heist season. I don't mind the dubbing too much

Never watched After Life

If you want a proper feel good film go watch Lion. First half is phenomenal, second half is good, ending got a lot of dust in my eye every single time

nah in all honesty the figures look above average, if we can keep the R below 1 then we can start to look ahead

these next few weeks will make of break us if we can get through them and get the weather we've been promised we may be able to see it off to a certain extent until late autumn

Yep

I think we need another 2-3 weeks but there needs to be more clarity on what can continue now.

At the end of the day we can only guess. The lockdown whilst brutal was necessary to relieve the stress on the NHS and position it to cope. Testing and equipment must go hand in hand with that.

I do feel however that the narrative has changed dramatically into one of keeping lockdown going to the point of collapse in some bizarre thought that we will avoid a second spike.

We've even got police commissioners thinking along the lines that there will be some serious crime wave when we lift lockdown so isn't it best we just keep people in their houses other than to work or get necessities ffs. What kind of warped thinking is that?

The virus hasn't disappeared. We've just hidden away from it as best as we can.

11th of May lift in France they went in 2 weeks before us, can imagine we'll maybe go with 25th of May as a possible date

I think if they came out with a plan and said another 2 weeks the majority of the public would be happy

NZ however may have completely eradicated it due to their early response

And the benefit of being a small, distant outpost.

its mad that New Zealand is slightly bigger than the UK but with 63 odd million less of a population, would love to visit it
----------------------------------------------------------------------

If you can, do it. Great place.

I don`t know how old you are, but if I had visited NZ when about 10-15 years younger, I would really have considered emigrating.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
There’s a possibility me and the missus head over there for a few years. However, most of my experience on New Zealander’s is doing everything to GTF out of there.

We've relatives who bought a place over there and stayed for long parts of the year.

Decided in the end they couldn't live there full time so sold up and moved home.

Official Secrets is an excellent movie, true story from the start of the war after 9/11.

Highly recommend it.

I didn't either mate and just couldn't get what the fuss was about.

Since been to Australia twice and absolutely loved it. Would go back again in a heartbeat but next time for about 6-8 weeks.
