Would have Martyn above at least the bottom 5.

20 ~ half a full season.

So Alisson in total has only played 1 1/2 pl seasons. How can he then be on a list of top 10 greatest PL goalkeepers?

Because he's great

I'm pretty sure if you asked Liverpool fans to make a greatest PL XI, they'd just choose the current Liverpool team minus one who they would take out for Slippy. Probably Wijnaldum.

Jussi Jaaskeleinen? Wouldn’t have Ederson in there.

i know how good schmeichel n seaman were but i cant remember seeing much of them myself, both were coming to the end of their careers as i was really getting into football.

Always thought culdicini was underused, bit of a waste similar to Romero at Utd atm.

top 3 on that list for me would be Cech EVDS n De Gea due to me actually seeing them more. De Gea prob best shot stopper ive ever seen. Cech was mr reliable and dependable for so long, EVDS was brilliant even for fulham. Given and friedel were solid pl keepers.

Hart did turn dogger but he did have some top seasons tbf.

Courtois was a mountain and really impressed me at AM but for Chelsea something always made me think a tad overrated.

Ederson is similar in that respect for me, think theyre top keepers though.

Sander Westerveld i always felt was one of the best keepers we've had since ive been watching football, didnt last long, and Reina was brilliant until Achterberg got his hands on him ofc Reina and Cech were the best about for 5 or so seasons in a row i felt. Alisson is hands down the most gifted we've had though, overall can see why his former coach said hes the messi of GKs, which at the time just thought was saying it trying to get a silly price and they did tbf world record before kepa.

Jaaskeleinen has to be one of the most overrated players in EPL history. He never looked comfortable whenever I saw him play, yet he gets lauded by most.

He was great for Bolton, for many years.

Brad Friedal was someone I considered as well.

Id have fabianski in my list, after that awful start at Arsenal getting called flapianski, over the past 5 years or so hes had some of the best stats in the league and for relegation fodder too. He has some of the best high claim stats ever season etc so he doesnt shy away despite being called flapianski early on. Wham got a bargain was brilliant for them in his first season and missed him this season thats for sure.

I agree with Joe on Jaaskeleinen, i remember him impressing me quite often for Bolton. Im sure he had bad games every keeper does but outside the top teams hes one like Given n Friedel etc i always felt could be at better teams.

Not your worst list ever but get rid of Cudicini and maybe Courtois too.

Mark Schwartzer
Nigel Martin
Paul Robinson
Fabian Bartez

All brilliant

Vds I always felt was massively over rated and propped up by a solid defence.

He wasn't bad but just never seemed exceptional, after leaving Ajax. At juve etc he seems OK but never amazing.

I actually thought OPS list was genuine until I read no9.
Well played 👏
