Here's an idea
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/av/football/52477566
I don’t think Celtic have offered a refund either, and we’ve had our renewals out for ages.
They’re seems to be a few rangers fans that aren’t happy, but it’s effectively costing them £25 to sign up for this scheme.
The only refund that there might be a bun fight over would be tickets for the OF game that was cancelled. I’m assuming Celtic had handed the money over for that. If not, then that money should be refunded to the fans ASAP, when the league is called.
Don’t see a massive issue with the Gers scheme-haven’t looked at it in any detail though.
Would cost more than that for a ticket for the Celtic game never mind the remaining 3 or so home games. Its a start though.
Partick thistle have done the decent thing-offered a refund to their supporters, but said how much it would cost and they would be grateful if fans didn’t ask for it.
Celtic so far have only pushed back the renewal date.
Ticket prices held
25 quid membership discount should you want it.
Think I paid £536 and was expecting at least + 5%
Not sure??? think Hearts discounted theirs
Someone said it was why st Mirren made their statement. Something about rangers taking the money for the tickets from fans but not passing it to them for the tickets and neither refunding the fans?

Sensible for a club in their position. Not sure if it would sound disingenuous coming from other clubs though in better positions.

I wouldn't expect Celtic (Lawwell) to do the moral thing in this situation.. not if it interferes with the bottom line.
The OP is just a wee laugh and cheap dig, but putting that aside.. it's a serious issue facing most clubs in Scotland.
The Partick approach is best.. be up front and honest.

Well, it wasn’t funny-ok?! There’s been a cull recently on hypocrisy, so get with the programme.
I think Celtic could be a bit more proactive with the communication-I think the only thing they’ve done is not take the first payments for season tickets.
Cvnts, but we knew that.

Their system is computerised assuming that is how you booked in the first place. Lack of staff has fck all to do with it.
My brother and I were talking about the financial impact of Covid last night, not just in football.
Especially with this year being a Euros and Olympics year.. can you imagine the amount of money already spent on global advertising campaigns geared towards those two events.
Obviously they'll save a few quid by not actually advertising but I imagine there's millions of coke bottles and tins with labels that have targeted campaigns/promotions on them.
Also, any adverts made for this summer will already be irrelevant as they'll no doubt show folk sitting together, hugging etc while enjoying the product being advertised. Which would just come across as surreal now.
Financial impact is gonna be massive. My employers deficit through this is already close to 9 figures.
Thistle could offer a refund because their season is officially over. Ours isn't.

Think that was one of the reasons why they decided to keep the name of the Euro 2020 games as the Euro 2020 games-meant they didn’t need to bother with new merchandise.

That is not 100%
After it was announced it would not change another statement came out to say otherwise and no decision had been made.
I have a Euro 2020 sticker that I got from a member of the Euro team, if it changes to Euro 2021 will be priceless. I will either sell it to Magnum's neighbour or donate it to the SFA museum

I agree with your comment on the refund, they will give us free games if we don't finish this season.
Early Euro rounds all covered, so if we have 3 or 4 games that take it to around £100 each
they shouldnt do anything until they know whats happening imo.
but they will, they will need cash.
