Sherwood - 5/10

Mourinho - 3/10

I was exaggerating a bit with that rating, but let's be honest it hasn't been great so far.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Hasn’t been great at Spurs for well over a year mate. Even before Jose popped in. Both him and Poch in his final term haven’t done much, but the team have massively regressed. A bang average team. But I’m judging Jose next season.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I'll give him till next season to , but I don't think he will last that long.

I know that Don. With the reputation Mourinho has as being a winner and the expectation that comes with that then we haven't exactly been getting our money's worth, although it's early days and he's been unlucky with injuries. Still, defence has been shocking under him and our record in big games poor, so my true rating wouldn't be much higher. Maybe a 4?
Poch clearly the best, 9/10 for him
Harry was underappreciated. Did a great job, not sure if he mentioned it but he came in with 2 points from 8 games. Broke the glass ceiling of getting into the top 4, and if it wasn't for the England job he probably would have continued his great work. In the end he was sacked for coming 4th. 8/10.
Jol started our revolution. 7/10.
Sherwood was a twaat but actually did he decent job results wise and changed the focus on youth. 6/10
The rest have been rubbish.

Sherwood above AVB? I get that it ended poorly for AVB and the football was dull but we did get our highest points total under him and were unlucky not to get top 4. He didn't ask for those new players he got either.

Yes, I hated AVB. Awful, negative football and bailed out (pun intended) most weeks.
The season after Bale left showed ABV was clueless.
Jose's reign reminds me a lot of AVB. That's the last time I hated watching spurs as much as I do now.
Not a great success rate by Levy. Begs the question: do you trust him to appoint the right man to replace Mourinho?

Take your frustrations out on the ones to blame for the regression, Levy and ENIC. That pathetic summer of no spending was the downfall and catalyst of where we are now. Started to go downhill with Poch and Mourinho has come into this mess. I blame Levy/ENIC
In terms of my memories watching the teams under those managers I'd put Jol first I think. Arry, Poch, and AVB after.

Jol only 6.5? He started your rise and got you top 5 consecutively no? Jol had led Tottenham to their highest league finish since 1990, which meant they had qualified for the UEFA Cup via the league for the first time since the ban on English clubs playing in Europe was lifted in 1990. The season saw Tottenham concede just 38 league goals, the fewest the club has conceded since 1971. And then he was cruelly sacked.
really surprised wahl the mo buggerer hasn't bit on this.
also i think 3/10 is too high for the finished one.

Mourinho - 3/10
Pochettino - 9/10
Sherwood - 3/10
AVB - 5/10
Redknapp - 8/10
Ramos - 4/10
Jol - 7/10
Santini - 2/10
Hoddle - 6/10
Take our Sherwood because he was short-term and what you're saying is if you follow the patterns of one bad followed by one good, with the good ones generally getting better and better, then we're due our best ever manager once Mourinho gets the sack
So Levy has arguably got it right on 3 out of 8 occasions with manager number 9 a work in progress.
That is a 37% success rate, which is poor.
