Nasser al-Khelaifi paid a fortune to have the charges dropped, doesn't mean he's not guilty - Quite the opposite.

No, but the people who found City guilty do. Same old City, always cheating
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Here's a couple of members of the UEFA Executive.

These are the sort of people you regard as the 'Voice of Justice'

Says more about you than anything else

https://www.theguardian.com/football/2020/feb/20/swiss-prosecutors-charge-psg-president-nasser-al-khelaifi-in-fifa-bribery-case

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/41388064

----------------------------------------------------------------------
But there's no hint of bribery, here, is there? Just a body looking at evidence of something we all suspected, yourself included. And finding City guilty of something we all suspected.

If we're going to go down the route of the people involved in this situation, and the skeletons in their closets, I don't reckon City's owners will come out of this well tbf. Not that it's relevant to their blatant cheating on this occasion
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No hint of bribery?

What part of this statement leads you to that conclusion?

'Swiss prosecutors charge PSG president Nasser al-Khelaifi in Fifa bribery case'

Corrupt organisation with a corrupt agenda.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He wasn't involved in the case against City and nobody involved in that case has been found guilty of bribery on any occasion. And certainly not on the occasion in which they found the cheaters that are City, guilty of cheating.

But seeing as how City's owners come from a regime that openly abuses human rights left, right and centre, I suppose we're supposed to believe that they were guilty on this occasion (which they were) without even having an investigation. Going on your logic
----------------------------------------------------------------------

So, in a nutshell. You’re happy to affirm suspicions, as long as you share them 👍

Pretty rich for someone who supports a club of which the Edwards Family, Robert Maxwell and Rupert Murdoch have all had a financial interest in.

posted on 3/5/20

You're not getting it. That has literally nothing to do with this case against City. He was not presiding over this case. FIFA did not stand to make any money through rightly punishing City for brazenly breaking their rules. But City's owners are used to getting their own way, through any means necessary, and ran roughshod over the rules they signed up to. That's why City have rightly been banned.

Every other PL club has managed to stay within the boundaries of FFP. But not City. And this only relates to the period since 2012, when City had already purchased a league title. So you can't even make the argument that City were only doing what they had to do to compete, which still wouldn't be a valid argument for rulebreaking anyway

There was an investigation. It's not suspicion. It's a concluded case. And as I said earlier, deep down, even you must have suspected that your club was breaking FFP laws all along

UEFA said City were guilty before the investigation, they even announced the punishment.

posted on 3/5/20

Well, no, that didn't happen. Although I don't think anybody was surprised when it turned out that City were guilty of everything that had been expected all along. Never worry though, KDB says he has no reason to disbelieve the owners, and who am I to question the words of a neutral like him

I have little interest in suspicion and rumour Steve, unlike yourself who would of been in your element had you only been born 500 years earlier during the peak of the Spanish Inquisition.

We will see what comes from the CAS ruling, I wonder, if they do rule Uefas findings to be incorrect will you change your opinion?

As for the comment about PL clubs staying within ffp since 2012, the Prem didn’t enact ffp until 2013. I’m wondering if you actually even know what exactly Uefa found City guilty of? Or do you just prefer dropping sound bites like Same old City always cheating....

City must have thought it was a scam email when they heard the punishment.

"Hello, is that UEFA"

"Yes, want do you want"

"Why are you banning us from Europe and fining us £20m"

"Not sure to be honest but we'll think of something"

"Like What"

"Don't really know but we're having a get together next month, I'm sure we'll come up with something"

posted on 3/5/20

I dont think the like of KDB saying he belueves City means fvck all tbh. He's blatantly covering his own back by saying that in public and if the ban is upheld then the fans can't have a problem if/when he jumps ship.

I have asked Boris multiple times whether he genuinely feels there is a large and organised conspiracy involving various leading figures in football against City.

Not once has he answered.

You have no interest in suspicion. Nor do you have any interest in believing the results of a case in which your club were found guilty. But inventing conversations to suit your own agenda is absolutely okay. Grand, well done

I think it means something in that this has been a slow process throughout. I don’t think if the likes of KDB, Guardiola etc would want their names associated with the club. I think some would of jumped ship already.

Bulls it. They wouldn't have joined City to begin with if they had that much moral integrity

Found guilty by a bunch of shysters and fraudsters?

Funnily enough, I'd rather hear the charges and evidence heard in open court where City can have a chance to defend themselves and we can all hear what's going on.

The leaks were ages ago though now and the case has also rumbled on. There would of been plenty of opportunity for players to leave in that time.

Not overly. You think cheating financial fair play would be just too much for KDB and Pep to stand? Given the ownership of your club? It's the FFP where they'd draw the line at unacceptable? Really?! Like I said, when they signed up to City they knew what they were signing for. And financial indiscretions are only the tip of the iceberg
