Yeah but when one guy tests positive, it will all come down on their heads.

The silly Germans have not considered this.

A torn hamstring isnt contagious and the common cold wont kill your family

Agree about moving on. However imo this season is a write off on so many levels

Clubs and football in general need to get prepared for next season. Get their structures and procedures in place under whatever guidelines the football authorities come up with.

You've moved the goalposts. The comment I replied to was about losing a player a couple of days before a game. Obviously C19 is different but again, these players are tested twice a week. They'll be pretty much in lock down between games. It is what it is.

You spoke of losing a player 12 hours before a game as no big deal

----------------------------------------------------------------------

I did. In the context that losing a player before a game isn't an issue. You first said it was an issue due to it being only 12 hours before a game. Then you decided to go with it being contagious. So which is it?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

We are talking about a contagious disease

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Definitely don't worry about potential exposure as you have all tested negative. As for your team mate, don't worry. He is fit and healthy, lets just be thankful we run these tests twice a week or it could have been much worse in terms of infecting others.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Yeh dont worry about your team mate

No big deal

Just a deadly virus

Let me just go reassure the opposition and the officials that you are all 100% clear

Then get out there and give it your all

No big deal

Why are you having to talk to officials? All tests are regulated and documented. As for your team mate, 0.02% chance he'll have to be hospitalized, let alone die. He'll be fine.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Not in the first team squad, as everyone has tested negative. One player has it. He's isolating for 14 days now. Just like the 10 that currently are in Germany without any dramas. Absolutely go out and do your stuff, you're all 100% fit.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Most certainly in the first team squad if a player has tested positive 12 hours before kick off regardless of the results of other tests.

No real drama except for the player involved including his loved ones wondering how symptomatic he may become

But no big deal for everyone else
