Bruno

Took a few pens and is in the team of the season.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He’s arguably been the best player in the league since joining but you can’t put a player in the team of the season after 5 odd games.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Best player in the league?
Don't be silly. 😂

Of course Bruno for us is a bit silly, too

Rashford should be in this.

Fernandes and Henderson 🤣

omg what happened to the PL?

People like Hendo making Team of the Year? This used to be a league we could all be proud of.

Auba and Vardy should be in there instead of Salah and Aguero.

Well he won the last PL player of the month in his only full month in the league.

I’m not saying he’s the best player in the league overall but you could make a strong argument that he’s the best player since his debut.

Don’t get what’s silly about that.

Because most of the people I follow are involved in football news, yet not any of them are directly linked to Liverpool.

Obviously bots, either run by your club or your rancid fans.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Who do you think we are, the Russian state? It’s your club tied to the oppressive, gay hating, human rights abusing state, not ours.

You spend so much time Googling random things about LFC it’s no wonder your social media has tracked it and started recommending LFC stuff

Soyuncu had like 10 decent games right?

Unfortunately you couldn’t argue against 9, 10 or 11 scousers being in there

Salah and Henderson being in there is fair enough. I don't think Henderson has been player of the year though. Mane and particularly Alexander Arnold from Liverpool alone would be ahead of him, at Liverpool alone. KDB would be up there too, in spite of City being below their best. I know leadership is important and the captain of the winning team will always be recognised. But I still think he's not been as good as those mentioned before
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Henderson has not been POTY. Like you say it is between TAA, Mane and De Bruyne. I'm a big fan of Henderson but if he won it, it would be similar to the year Giggs won it, a sympathy vote for different reasons. Henderson because he has proved his doubters wrong and Giggs because he had been excellent for many years but never won it.

I haven't watched all of City games so biased, but it's between Mane and TAA. I can't choose between them as they've been excellent for different reasons. In fact I'd say TAA has done a lot of what De Bruyne has done, and from full back. Perhaps unfair to Mane but TAA would get my vote, doe to, against popular opinion of rivals fans, apart from his exploits going forward, his massive improvement defensively.

I’d go with KDB for player of the season. All of Liverpool’s player have been very good but I’d have to go with KDB as an individual.

Yeah, just highlights how sad half the fan base are for the glory hunter clubs. Though i guess that is why they became glory hunters in the first place, to make up for their low self esteem.

Go on then, which Wolves players have been better than what's in there?

Low self esteem, suggests the guy who insists on having a username proclaiming himself to be a champion.

Ok then

Would be interesting who Cindi wants in. Wolves players? None of them would get my vote, although they've performed very well as a team and the manager has done a great job. Jimenez has done well but of course, other strikers have been better. Traore has done excellently, in spurts, so comparable to Salah, in that respect but Salah has scored more goals. Doherty? TAA, enough said. Patricio, in with a shot but Henderson for me. Coady has been excellent and I still haven't got over us letting him go but Soyuncu, come on, he's ben outstanding. Neves and Moutinho have been good but not near the three players mentioned and in fact I've watched a lot of Wolves games this season, they're a good team to watch but those two have been 'rotated' a lot, due to poor form.

Wolves are an e Ok team that got a decent result or two. They’ve as many wins as Southampton and palace. There’s a lot of love for them though, so they get a lot of high praise

Wolves are a breath of fresh air for me. They may not have more wins than Palace but Wolves play better, more entertaining football. They have a style of play that can handle itself in Europe and against big teams without parking the bus so much. Its early but football people can see that something could be brewing at Wolves. Which way will they go? They have an excellent manager and if they can add the right players then who knows?

I honestly find them dull. How many 1-1 draws have they had? They've also had a few goalless ones. I find them do be typical of Portuguese football. Technically sound but low risk and reactive. They're an attritional team, rather than an entertaining one imo. You know they're not going to be blown away by anyone and they will keep themselves in any match. By the same token, they'll never stuff anyone. They're far too cautious for that

That's why I said we'll see, but they have good foundations. Obviously they're not Barca.

All this stuff sometimes happens in the development of a team. When I look back at Liverpool under Klopp there was times we couldn't keep a clean sheet no matter what but the foundations were evident.
