We all know why they are wasting time, effort and lives and risking the fantasy of a resumption of the season, it is purely the greed of the money men and the interests of a handful of clubs that is pushing for this pointless and needless idiocy.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

The season is definitely resuming in the second or third week of June and being completed before the end of July. Next season will start in September. Key stakeholders have already been briefed by the PL.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Why? It needs binned. No one really cares anymore

I would suggest the 20 businesses/clubs that have premier league status, plus the literally thousands of businesses that rely on the PL will feel differently. Not to mention a lot of fans who are eager for a safe solution to be found in order to resume. Either way, it’s happening so we might as well look forward to it.

Fair point, aside them. I really couldn’t give a fack about it at the moment.

There is zero chance of the season starting in the 2nd week of June, that is like just four weeks away.

Yea, but you’re not a football fan. You just have a crush on a Portuguese fella.

The clubs have told the PL they need 3 weeks prep time to resume and most are back in some form of training already.

Aside from the people employed by premier league clubs, I don’t give a crap what happens to them. They get plenty of money, if they’ve not saved sone aside and overspent then that’s their problem, not as if they started the season with nothing. The players I could not care less about (apart from the underpaid youth ones), are all millionaires or close to it.

Season needs binned, stupid starting it up just give pool the title and freeze the positions, start again in September..

No, I can just live quite happily without football, like the vast majority apart from a minority of sad losers who only have the weekend game to look forward to in life every week

Yeah, I haven’t really missed footy at all if I’m honest, would have loved the euros, but the prem is getting really dull these days anyway.

These players haven’t even returned to training, so what does this have to do with football ffs

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Because they are footballers that play football. Honestly you just don`t get it do you. Doesn`t matter whether they have returned to training or not.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

It does matter in the context of starting the season again. Also, like I said, only 1 player has it now. The other 2 were weeks ago.

Of course you feel that way but that's because you're team is crap now and your two biggest rivals in football are running the show.

Worst time to be alive if you're a manc.

Worse if you are a scouser. Wait 30 years for a title, finally look like getting one, and then it gets cancelled

Well, it would 100% be wholly unfair to relegate any club under under the circumstances of a restart.

Changing the rules part way through any competition should deem it meaningless and in no way right and proper.

So Ropey league football is better than being world, European and super cup champs as well as league winners in waiting?

Clutch clutch straw.

Still better than Ropey league. Also I notice you didn't comment on City who are now 'THE' club in Manchester.
