Not sure, but I think grounds like Dean's Court werent suitable.
If it were centralised and clubs didnt move around the country you could understand it a little, but it seems to be 10 grounds or something.
'Of the nine games left for the Reds to play, four were meant to be played at home. By playing at a neutral ground... where’s the fairness as far as LFC is concerned?'

You missed out some of the OPs comment.
There is no fairness to any of the teams involved, furthermore there is no point to it either - it will be leaked long in advance where a club is to play a fixture.
It’s a stupid idea from start to finish and undermines this season even more.
If it does happen Jimmy then I bet they have teams like Newcastle playing in Brighton and Norwich coming up to the north west rather than use local grounds.
Looking at the way certain sides are acting they’ll be no more football this season.
All the teams facing relegation want it called off and some even have agreed to play if relegation is taken off the table 😧😧😧😧 ..... talk about missing the optic re-starting
What they don’t realise that all this petty behaviour to stop Liverpool winning it in any sort of normal manner or at all will come back to haunt them all
3 Brighton players I think have now tested positive so they’ll say they won’t play again like others Watford, Villa and other fodder. I read something today that as Dresden can’t field a team the whole Bundesliga should be stopped and called null and void
Let’s pretend that these players and fans genuinely are more bothered about their health and doing the right thing ...come on let’s at least pretend everyone as we know it’s pure horse s#it
What they don’t realise is that say it’s cancelled and called null and void and they all get their wish and we start next season which they are all happy to talk about and a few players are tested positive for CV-19 can that side say Liverpool for example demand that the whole footballing calendar be called off and the season only start once there’s not a person in the game that has it. The next week or a few weeks later another side may have a few players or staff that have it and then we cannot have a ball kicked and when their side Brighton, Villa, Watford, Accrington and all the other s#ite sides go under because the game can never restart again

Its a hood point by Verbal tbh.
What happens when next season starts? As we've been told, it will only take one positive test for it to all come crashing down.
Just one.
And all of next season will come down.

This is a very valid point. However the PL could introduce rules for next season (that it can’t this) that stops this - huge fines for teams that refuse to play, docked points etc - that way all clubs no the score when walking in.
Or we may not see football until there is a vaccine.
The whole reasoning on here seems to bounce between LFC and most of the rest.
As ive said many times give them the title and scrap it whether League positions mean relegation or not.
The rules to try and complete this for the money are being twisted and amended everyday
It is clearly not safe anywhere and some have seen sense, why cant we?

The point of neutral grounds is so that there can be a select number of grounds where health and safety procedures can by implemented to a high standard and monitored. I significantly reduces the cost and risk compared ti implementing this at 20 sites.

That is a good point.
Also heard it’s because the men at the top gear fans congregating outside stadiums if played at normal venues. Not sure I quite buy that, unless the point of it being neutral included making the venue confidential until a few hours before the match lol. Because otherwise I think if fans are dedicated enough to congregate around a stadium in lockdown they’d be dedicated (for want of a better word) enough to travel to the neutral venue too if they knew where it was.

It was also being discussed because the police are concerned about a few thousand fans congregating at a venue. The game Lpool could mathematically win the league or Sheffield United qualify for CL for instance - it’s not out of the realms of possibility that a few thousand fans could congregate and there is little the police can do at that point.
Havent they already named the Neutral grounds? within reason.
Yes they could keep it a secret but what is a secret nowadays.
