In no way is there a murder conviction possibility here - absolutely none.
This is a despicable act, regardless of the current situation.
I can’t imagine what that poor woman’s family is going through. And their grief has been given a focus - a person to blame, yet it isn’t an absolute certainty that she did catch it from the person who did this to her. And that uncertainty just makes it harder for her family. For their anger could be misguided in that respect.
Where the anger can be directed, and where people can be held accountable, lies, not only towards the man who spat in her face, but towards her employers. Reading the guardian article, the way her employers are alledged to have acted, in specific regard to their employees, to this woman who had health issues, and in response to the attack upon her, is simply unacceptable.
I hold them in as much contempt as I do the person who spat in her face.
Jonty, I have more often then not agreed with a lot of your comments but not all. I recently got the impression that you are more then a little stressed out. Therefore, it is probably as well to take a break.
Hope to see you making a contribution soon whe we are rightfully back in the Premiership!
Agree, take a well earned break fella & come back stronger.
You're a good poster. π

Care to explain that in more detail?
As for the OP, that's the nature of the beast these days, this is the life we live with and will for the foreseeable future so not sure what you are getting out of sharing someone's else's grief because you can.
And in fairness the Op you wrote is shameful, have a word.
And yes take a break.
Jonty, I'm sorry for those remarks, hadn't opened the initial link but had read that earlier today.
Very sad but still remember these are the times we will be living in.
Stay safe.
Awful awful story this..
Stay safe Jonty
