You dont have to social distance...why would you? So,
1) it wont be shorter halves.
2) there wont be turning away from tackling.
3) neutral grounds is a possibility but normal home and away grounds is now very much on the table.
4) no VAR... haven't heard this dont see why there wouldn't be though.
5) fans congregating outside grounds.. well no, as well there shouldn't be.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Number 5) will be a police matter.
If they don't trust fans not to turn up for a certain fixture I assume they will request its played elsewhere?
I guess that's why I find it frustrating that there are so many people who would love to be tested and need to be but the players are tested 2-3 times a week

Surely with a game in hand and 6 out of 10 at home you must fancy Villas chances to escape the drop zone?

Especially with Brighton's nightmare run in
Not under the suggested new rules mate.
And as I said listening to some others and seeing whats happening outside footy I genuinely wouldn't care if they took the brave decision to void even at out expense,
They could just call as it is, not relegate anyone, promote Leeds and West Brom, give Liverpool the title. There is not going to be euro comps next season so that doesn’t need to be debated.
Miss out on the first instalment of next seasons tv money so they don’t have to repay this one and cut back on transfers to recoup lost monies.
Very few teams want to finish this season, there is little left to play for

My mates a Villa regular and I've been numerous times with him over the years.
Great old fashioned stadium with steep stands and 40k every week. I would much sooner see the back of any of the other 5 relegation candidates than Villa.

I was looking to purchase a new car before all this kicked off, I was looking at a Mercedes valued at £40k, trouble is I only have £25k, I think a sensible solution would be if the dealership can’t reopen then I should be allowed to just buy it for £25k anyway

Why? It doesn't apply in all manner of jobs going on right now, why would it apply to players that have been quarantined for weeks and getting regular testing?

Gift Liverpool the title and relegate West Ham because they are West Ham.

I am all for this. Lets save lives .Football will have to take the financial hit like most businesses in this world at the moment. Clubs , the league and the broadcasters must share the cost.

No one will care when the mousers pipe up about winning the title this season as it's going to be tainted, but they were doing well before the virus f@cked them

Fortunately my team winning the prem and the enjoyment I get from that has very little to do with how others see it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Desperation personified, taking satisfaction from being gifted a tarnished and meaningless PL in times of national mourning, is about as low as you can go.
