Yeah it's a catch 22 isnt it because he likely wouldnt have been had he not developed at Burnley if that makes sense. Utd have about 47 options down the left now though so it's all good!
McNeil will likely be sold imo due to this virus. Their chairman was saying it'll nail them and Liverpool 100% have scouted him so....
Welcome to Everton/West Ham/Newcadtle for £40,000,000 Dwight McNeil!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
On an unrelated note, have you been taking the opportunity to do any scouting on Werner? It sounds like it's more likely than not he'll be a Liverpool player next season. I've watched both of RB Leipzig's games since the resumption of the Bundesliga. And he looks like a worryingly good fit for you guys. His scoring record speaks for itself, but he is incredibly hard working. Tracks back, makes tackles to win the ball and then has the pace and instinct to get in the right area to score. I think he'd be a very good signing for Liverpool, should it happen
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I havent tbh. Well not as much as Id like but Ive not been watching full games. I know people laugh at youtube but scoutnation do some really good stuff fwiw.
From what I have seen....
Insane movement and athletic
Can play left or central
Scores different types of goals (that may sound trite but it's surprisingly rare imo)
All round play a bit dull, even anonymous, but delivers in big moments.
Bit of Auba about him positionally and all round play wise but need to see more. Squad wise likely a great fit because of the above though.

Barnes could be one of those who benefits from the suspended Euros. Huge season for all those who haven’t had a real look in for the squad, Euros and WC in successive years.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think Greenwood could well be knocking on the door when they are played. England have a lot of young talent and aren't a million miles away from being a tournament winner imo

Only realistic place he could go is Madrid and I don’t see it. Would be huge loss imo and Adama have to improve a lot to replace him.
Traore isn’t exactly going to replace Salahs goals though is he? Would be good if he got half the return he regularly gets.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
That's true. Though you can never be sure. With his upward trajectory, it's not impossible. Salah himself wasn't producing those numbers 4 or 5 years ago.
But I take your point and it's why I'd love United to sign Sancho. United still don't score enough goals, our defensive record is okay. Sancho would pretty much guarantee at least 25 more goals a season for us
If you were replacing Salah with Adama you would probably need to replace Firmino also with a CF who scores more.

Both possible contenders. Tierney has barely played in the PL but then again you could say the same about Bruno.
Me and my mates do a draft every season. I'm hoping I ban maybe pick up Tierney in a false position. As he's a really talented player and offers a great attacking threat from a full back position. Mind you, he's fully fit now and will probably finish the season really strongly, making him less likely to be a hidden gem for next season

To be fair Grealish does look decent and should get a good move in the summer or whenever the window opens. Neves should be ahead of him in any under 25 side though, albeit different players.
Jota has been a little frustrating this season but he will explode soon, he can be unplayable at times. Just don't see much of anything in Martial, 24 now and given a stack of time but still doesn't look like bossing his position. Obviously a decent player but he isn't on his way to the top for me.
