He’s 32 and has a year left on his contract, if he leaves I hardly think it tarnishes his legacy. Maybe for you, but you’re a bit mental.

See my first comment.
I don’t think it’s just about winning it as much as having the opportunity to do so. It’s not like City haven’t offered that opportunity, even if they’ve failed.
Players like Aguero and De Bruyne might look at it and think it’s a waste to stay given their age and how sought after they’d be, players like Bernardo, Sterling and Mahrez less so.

Yeah I was being deliberately self derogatory there!

It's a shame there's no way you can extend a contract in the modern era.
And he may decide against that in favour of a move. That’s the point.
If he doesn't move then he may not get chance to win the CL until he is 35, and who knows what level he will be at by then. He will have some thinking to do.
Yeah exactly. Though I think Aguero may stay and see out his contract, then move back to play in Argentina.

How do you know he’s desperate to win the cl? His plan was to play for City then go back to Argentina. Some of the finest players weve seen in Europe over the years have never won it, and I think fans can place too much value in the competition some times.
Aguero definitely won’t move, I’m sure of that.

Says he wants to win it with City but if that doesn't happen this season then who knows what will happen.
I wonder about Sterling. I think Real Madrid would be very interested.
Aguero is already the all time top foreign scorer in the CL.
He's only 7 goals behind Andy Cole and probably thinks he can beat Rooney's tally of 208 goals.
His personal ambitions will keep him at a club who have been consistently high scorers since he joined them.

What’s he gonna do, gamble on engineering a move to the club he thinks might win it within 12 months? Can’t see him leaving.
How many is he off Rooney’s?

28.
Could be done then. Though with his injury record it might be hard.

I fully expect that to happen at some point. And for it not to go well.
I think it depends what happens with Mbappe, and whether they see him as a striker if they do get him.
I think Sterling would do well at Madrid given some of the creative talents they have in the squad, or out on loan.
Watching them they seem to have real issues with movement off the ball in attack, especially given Ronaldo left.
Hazard, Sterling and Mbappe in the same team could be lethal.
It’s more I don’t think mentally he’d cope with it well and would struggle over there rather than the ability. He does need a lot of managing.
Ahh okay that’s a fair point.
