Willey, Curran and Rashid still to come is decent but this is extremely sloppy.

Campher is proving a good cricketer tbf
Yeah, he looks a talent and definitely someone Ireland can build their team around going forward.
Willey defending his first 7 balls knowing to bat the situation despite it being a one day game shows how poorly Moeen went about his innings.
Willey is a good batsman(will get out now, who cares), opened most of his county career for a reason, just his bowling has shone for England and he has a different job down the order he has either successfully or not so done.
Billings has had a great series. Some beautiful shots on display again.
This is poor from England although it's our method now but can look a bit silly when it doesn't go to plan. Regardless though, you need to try and bat the 50 overs. This is where we need to evolve as a side to be able to get scores in this situation. Curran can give the ball a good whack and did well in the Big Bash with the bat from memory.
Moeen is just not a very good cricketer. There, I said it.
(for the 100th time)
we may have already peaked as an ODI side but the talent in depth we have in this format wont go away. Happily sacrifice more inconsistent, poorer displays in the ODIs for gain of the test side.
Have to remember Root, Buttler and Stokes are probably Englands 3 best ODI batsmen imo. Roy and Bairstow can get England off to flyers which has been huge in the success of this team of late, but both are pretty inconsistent.

Moeen was so useful in the 2015 Ashes. Took important wickets and averaged about 38 with the bat.
Bloody useless now though

I think his batting has declined so much that we ignore that he's actually been decent with the ball, especially in one day cricket. However he's not batted like a number 7 for a while despite the fact I think he still bats at 3 for Worcestershire in First class and List A cricket

Bairstow's ODI average is nearly 50... Much as I can't stand the bloke he's a ridiculously good one day player.
Willey bonks a filthy one-handed six
He's absolutely fearsome when he's on song.

yeah fair enough.
Stokes as an all round package, also averages 40 himself with the bat.
Root very very good ODI player, goes under the radar from his test form. Averages 51 and is the anchor after a wicket is lost.
Buttler clearly one of the most entertaining ODI players in the world and one of the best finishers too.
Those 3 are superior ODI players to Bairstow imo but no doubting Jonny is a great ODI batsman now. He does seem to either go big or quickly back to the pavilion though.

Not that he should be moved as there's nowhere else for him to go, but Willey's batting really is wasted at 8

Haha I’d say he’s a very good cricketer, just think he’s ran his course on the international circuit.
