I have seen today a black woman using her race and the George Floyd movement to personally attack a white woman who has noting to do with it.

Racism works both ways in my eyes.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yup.

After racist shooter killed black church folk in Charletsville, I saw a BBC crew follow a white women and kids offer to support the cause, only to be told by a black racist women to go away....she then racially abused white BBC camera crew .

Today is #BlackoutTuesday...

A day when people are supposed to stand lockstep against racism on social media and forums like this. A day to raise awareness of racism, educate yourself on why racism is real and encourage others to educate themselves.

Instead you post this garbage.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Who made it blackout Tuesday?

I condemn the murder of Floyd and other killings, but let's hold back a bit.

When Isis were killing Christians and yazidis, it went under the radar that now wants special days.

Why is that....is it a trendy thing?

Cops in America represent society, racist and good people and All of us condemn this latest murder and the cop is charged, so what do you want?

Dead cops?

Riots and looting?

Or, justice and peace.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I'm not sure who specifically created it, but my insta feed is all about it today.

No sensible person wants riots or looting but the truth is, there's no playbook on how to protest.

Some of the images, like the police station up in flames, are uncomfortable but I can't necessarily condemn it.

This is what happens when a community has been disenfranchised for decades. Apart from not killing/targeting innocent people, I'm not going to tell people how to fight back when they've been pushed to the brink.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ok.

The brother of the victim in this tells people not to riot, beat folk up, shoot cops or loot Macy's, so take his word, not mine.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Probably yes.

Don't think they did.

And, if the muslim community were labelled in the same way as cops in Amerrica, we would have seen a race sectarian war in the UK.

The problem is VC is that it seems to flow much more one way than the other, at least over here it does.

Yes. In fact even though the perpetrators were born and grew up here, they were referred to as Nigerians, rather than British.

Also that had nothing to do with race. That was more of religion.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Was it reported as racist attack?

They don't want to be wrongly targeted by the police.

They don't want to be attacked and killed by the police.

They don't want to have to teach their children how they need to behave to avoid being killed.

They don't want their skin colour to be a factor in their deaths.

It's not difficult to understand what they want.

Also you say charged, he wasn't - He was fired and a few days later picked up from his home and charged.

I find it weird that some people are actually offended by blacks merely asking for equal footing in society. I don't get it.

Every single day blacks literally have to think about/worry about what an average white person doesn't think/know exists.
Like going to a job interview... "Are they going to reject the application due to being black?" "What if the interviewer is racist?"

Going into a shop with your mates.. "they'll probably feel threatened, so some of you should probably wait outside"

Works hard and buys yourself a brand expensive car.. "he probably made money from drugs, otherwise how could he afford the car?"

Gets stopped by police... "Oh sh..t, is this cop going to feel threatened and shot+kill?"

This was my response to Ron last night.
I'm not sure black are hating on whites. They're merely fighting for equal footing in society. Any person that feels attacked should imagine it this way... Imagine you're competing in a 100m race and you're placed to start 3 seconds behind your competitors every single time.. just like your parents and grandparents were. I'm sure you'd get fed up eventually and start protesting.

That's literally how it has been for blacks. Due to effects of slavery, they started off way behind others with no wealth (no land, no credit, no savings, etc.). It's pretty difficult to start off on nothing compared to someone who's had the chance/freedom/ability to have these. So basically very little/no chance of winning. When you finally think you've got it, you've got a chance, and go for a job interview, the employer stereotypes and imagines that you're probably second place to your white competitor (due to your history and background - you didn't attend the best school, no work experience, etc). You lose again.

And then you try to go to school, but then it's critically underfunded. Can't afford books, barely have enough teachers to teach and leave school with nothing. You become and adult and try to get a job feed your family. You're on minimum wage or below and can't feed your family. You start to dabble into illegal practices, crime and drugs. You become part of a gang to fight people like yourself over control of drugs, money and territory. "Black on black crime". No such thing. It's just crime. Crime driven by poverty. No one calls white on white crime..

Some get fortunate and escape through arts (music, film and sports).

Lee Rigby's death was sadly caused because he was a soldier within the army.

What next ? ‘All lives matter’ etc ?

Some people really don’t get it.

I remember seeing a Piers Morgan rant about Meghan Markle - he vehemently denied that any of the press coverage represented racial bias and openly shouted at people to show him a racist headline.

They couldn’t, of course.

In the mind of a simpleton, racism is that simple.

We even had "positive discrimination" which in itself is a racist directive.
