PL 2020 Top 10 Predictions

Tbf City are one of the few teams who dont have a great deal to play for really although you don't achieve what they have by being unprofessional.

Unfortunately I think it might be Shef Utd. Their results were looking harder to come by, harder to fight for from the bits I saw but momentum kept them going. Could be wrong.

Soooooooooo,

I reckon there is going to be at least one team that just loses their sh!t.

Who do we think it will be if there is one? I've a weird feeling about City tbh although that's not reflected in my prediction. A lot of that is based on a crazy of KDB though who now looks like Rebel Wilson.

Maybe Spurs despite players coming back.

You've always got to look at West Ham.

Shef Utd would be no surprise.

I think Leicester, they have a tough run in
But who fackin knows.

Plus BR is awful in big games.

Sheffield are a good shout. Also worth considering they’re team built on their organisation and work rate, I think the fitness issues, and lack of training time due to the games coming quicker, will cause them some issues as well. We’ll see what happens, but I suspect that clubs with the more talented players will find results easier to come by than ones that rely more on their team ethic.

Leicester have enough fixtures they’ll win to scrape into the top four, I reckon. I wouldn’t be surprised if they dropped below us and Chelsea, but it’s just highly unlikely they’ll fall lower than that.

On relegation I would love to see West Ham go down. They used to be a club I quite admired when I was young but now I can’t stand them.

I agree with the last bit of that Pranky.

West Ham getting relegated would be funny.

Imo people need to actually look at Leicester fixtures here!

Watford a
Brighton h
Everton a
Palace h
Arsenal a
Bournemouth a
Sheff Utd h
Spurs a
Man Utd h

I simply don't think that's an awful set of fixtures that a side with an effective 9 point lead and a pretty decent first 11 will mess up.

Yeah they should have enough to get over the line.

My view of the bottom 3:

Norwich have left an awful lot to do. They could some out full of energy and blitz it but it would be a monumental effort.

villa - I just don't know. they have the game in hand but I just don't know what they have in them. its a mistake to write anyone off based on what was going on 3 months ago. their form was rubbihs just before lock down but it might help them.

On this basis west ham are a similar situation. They ought not to be in trouble however thier form had been awful and their owners seem more worried about cancelling season and avoiding relegation than anything. The question is about will and readiness.

Brighton, haven't stopped talking about cancelling the season as a club in the same way. again were a team crawling their way to safety/flirting with the drop as they took 4 draws and 2 losses from last 6.

finally watford, capable of pulling off a run but no fans, team captain not engaged fully and also another club you'd wonder about.

IMO you'll know match day 1 where these clubs heads are at. Its very hard make a call.

Brighton have a bad set of fixtures but do have relegation 6 pointer v norwich and theres a newcastle game that newcastle will struggle to be up for.

Villa have not got a good set of matches either. they only play west ham in it.

Watford have a decent set against sides in the bottom half.

Bournemouth have a tough set as well.

I'm going to be crazy and say brighton, villa and bournemouth to go down.
