Only thing I'd say about finding the OP move and spamming it - you've still got to have the technique to pull it off time after time, even when the defenders know what's coming.
-----------------------------------------------------------
True, and I'll take anyone to task who tries to argue Robertson & Trent aren't the best full backs in the world right now, but there's a limit to how many times you can watch that same move over & over again before becoming jaded.
Buying one creative midfielder fixes this issue immediately (for fans like me lol). Teams will need to close him down which'll create gaps & some variety will emerge.

Given another 6 months of regular football and I reckon Reece James will be a serious contender for the England RB position with TTA!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think he’ll struggle to make it into the squad. TAA is obviously going to be the main man, but AWB is knocking on the door and Southgate has a hard on for Trippier as well. James looks promising, though.
How anyone can even look beyond Trent is madness to me. I'd be looking to set the team up in a way that lets him do his thing - he has got an obscene amount of assists considering he's a RB. Only 2nd to De Bruyne over quite a long period of time I believe.
Looking like a once in a generation type player.

I mean as England manager...
He’ll have more defensive responsibility for England. We don’t set up like Liverpool.

Sideshow. I've noticed you have a habit of taking something I express in terms of a feeling, agreeing with it, and then explaining away the other side with grounded logic
Liverpool playing like a data analysts' robotic creation is spot on btw, and it's such a stark contrast to the swashbuckling, lets party football they were playing before this
I was interested so looked it up, Liverpool have put in the 2nd highest number of crosses this season, behind Man City.
Looking at the opposition breakdown it’s pretty clear we target crosses against some teams much more than others. Interestingly we’ve crossed the least amount of times this season when playing Chelsea.

Only a personal opinion of course but I believe James to be a much better player than AWB!
He’s yet to show it. He looks more of a threat going forward, for sure, but AWB has been consistently one of the best right backs in the prem for two seasons, even if lacking going forward. And yet both him and TAA haven’t managed to nail down the right back spot for England due to Trippier and Walker.
It’s a shame we don’t have the same quality and depth on the other side.

I think one thing we can agree on, is at national level we look to have terrific competition for years to come!

Sideshow, Liverpool are tactically fascinating for sure. Outside of back 3 systems I don't think we'll see another team whose key players are the full backs for a very long time.
And what's incredible is they are full backs, not wingers converted into full backs which most teams would have to do to replicate this. That's a credit to the coaching & management.
