Suggestion for the forum.
A split function.
Article splits into a debate about what clutch means and a separate article celebrating late goals.

We'll debate the meaning of clutch. Reckon we could get at least ten pages out of it.

You’re on.
In slang, clutch refers to something done (well) in crucial situation, such as clutch play in sports that pushes a team into victory. More broadly, clutch can characterize something as "excellent" or "effective."
Discuss.

Never heard of a clutch goal but Gerrard versus Olympiakos in the CL and West Ham in the FA Cup. He would go on to lift both trophies.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think he will be more remembers for slipping the clutch.

Haha, then putting it on a “plate” for Demba Ba

..........
It has had its fair share of female ones sat on it so you could be onto something. Well done TOOR.
Gerrard was a paradox because he was sometimes incredibly clutch, but sometimes comically choked.
Clutch: Olympiakos, Istanbul, West Ham, 1-5 vs Germany
Choked: The Slip, Crystanbul, Back-pass to Henry at Euro 2004, the red card vs United after 45 secs, the O.G vs Chelsea at Millenium Stadium, missed pen vs Portugal in WC06 QF shootout

Clutch? Fack does that mean you hippy
Americans talk so much shiite, can't they stick to their own silly games .
Bale was pretty "clutch" for us in his last season.
"Most clutch goal"
Farewell to the English language.
I was staying with a bunch of people in Philadelphia years ago and we went for a kick-around in the park. (Incidentally, this was great for my self-esteem: the only European playing football with a group of enthusiastic but technically untrained Yanks.) Anyway, at one point I played a simple one-two with one of my team-mates and someone exclaimed, "we're out-triangulating them".
I think we should use more Americanisms when talking about football, which should henceforth be known as soccerball. Not 'clutch' though. That's a rubbish word and not a useful concept.

When I started reading that post, I thought you were going to tell us about an injury time winner that you scored in the park.
