Hope I'm wrong on the 6th place, 4th looks better.
That first restart game between Villa & Sheff Utd could be really pivotal. It's a game in hand so, Sheffield win & they go three points above us, Villa win & they're out of the bottom three. just noticed Arsenal could also go above us if they beat Man City by more than 3 goals or more.
Had forgotten though that only Liverpool have lost fewer games than us so far. That has to be encouraging.
It's interesting to speculate how the last months will have affected different clubs differently. I'd like to think our club and our first team have a really good team spirit and will have supported each other through the dodgy times, and that that will help us as we restart.
I suppose lots of other team's supporters may be thinking the same thing though. The only difference, I guess, is the we'm Wolves and so are always right.

This would suggest you need more firepower from the bench to turn draws into wins.

The opposite is true actually. We have gained lots of points late on in games but have a bad tendency to concede the first goal
I reckon that to threaten to finish 4th we are going to need to average 2 points a game from the remaining 9 games. Not impossible with the fixtures we have left but quite a challenge.
What's not yet clear is what position is needed to secure a Europa League place. Man City's appeal will have a bearing on that. 7th was good enough last year but I suspect wont be good enough this year. Last year it got us into the Preliminary Rounds but I cant see any way there will be time for those this summer, especially as the current season European competitions wont finish until late August.

Can't say I've watched loads of your games perhaps a handful. You don't seem to have a replacement for Jimenez. You've drew a load of games, many of them you should have won. Although of course you'd know more than me as I haven't watched enough.
It`s no longer a right and proper season, so who cares
Funny how supporters of teams with something positive to play for want the season to continue, those threatened with relegation want the season abandoned, and those in the middle don't care
we could mainly draw or lose our games in which case we'll finish lower than we are now. or we could mainly win and draw and ...... you get my drift,
Wolves are hosting Nottingham Forest in a behind closed doors friendly next week. There will be no announcements as to when it will be played and no media will be present.
I see that Sky has started charging me for Sky Sports from 18th June, so their free offers on the Covid are being stopped then.
I will not be happy if they show all their games free to air
as not a lot of other sports will be going on.
Sky are showing 64 of the remaining games of the 19/20 season. 25 of those will be free to view.
All remaining Wolves games will be free, live and direct on the match thread platform
The best way to enjoy a game, without question!

The pre season friendly against Forest will be held at Compton on Tuesday night. There will be no media there and the game wont be covered live on social media at all
Thanks Spangles, in that case I am happy to pay.

Spurs, Liverpool and anyone else that could afford to buy him.
However, we don't need to sell.
Wolves lost that friendly against Forest 2-0 today. Seems like it was a pretty informal affair. First teamers and U23s got a run out and it was evidently played without a referee or linesmen
Sounds like the old days , down our road.
Did they put their coats down for the goalposts ?
A favourite artist of mine Bob Barker has a great painting called Jumpers for Goalposts which is of some kids playing in a street of terraced houses with a floodlit Bramall Lane stadium in the background. Wish he had done something similar behind the old Molineux Street stand
Kids today don't know their born.
Before the lock-down saw some local league games with three different aged teams. 7, 10 and 13 year old's. The pitch was all marked out, the nets erected and all the players wearing top class kit and boots.
Problem is its all too easy and they all think their the bees knees.
No realisation of how privileged they are.
OK
