Chilwell LB? Would have to spend quite a bunch though considering he wouldn't be worth it. Would be similar to the Maguire purchase for United.
Kepa/new
James Rudiger Tomori New/Alonso
Kante Gilmour
Ziyech Pulisic
Abraham Werner

The big thing puffing me off Chilwell is the cost, age, ability and the fact he's English are all massive plus points but the reportes 80+ million compared to somebody like tagliafico for 25 seems crazy to me
CB and LB are the top priority now, but we need decent ones. CB in balance is the bigger priority as we could always put Azpi at LB where he performed well before.
We're missing a big central presence like Terry, Van Dijk etc.
Promising stuff so far though!
We seem still to be waiting for Rudi to show his full potential, last season though was a disjointed one for him, what with his injury and a variation of different partners at the back hopefully he will return to his best very soon.
Also yes, we must sort out the L/B situation.
Otherwise, I look forward to some interesting and successful times ahead.
Ziyech and Werner (assuming the signing goes through) were both organized early and for very reasonable fees. That doesn’t sound like us at all - what’s going on? It’s almost like we’re starting to get our act together. Now if we can offload Batshuayi and Bakayoko I’ll really start believing.
We really are building a young exciting squad. Defence next on the agenda. A CB and LB needed.
A lot of deadwood needs shifting on. More then half of the loan army needs to go.
BabaRahman/Zappacosta/Bakayoko/Drinkwater/Moses/Kenedy
Hopefully we can find clubs for these guys. They're another 10 on loan that have no future here that need shifting.
From our current squad Pedro and Willian look like goners. Giroud may look for a move. I'd look to cash in on Bats/Barkley/Alonso/Zouma to make funds available to further strengthen our squad.
Not sure what we do with Gallagher and Ampadu. A wasted year for Ampadu whilst Gallagher has been a standout from our loan army but there isn't any room for him in the squad.

We've slowly been getting our act together for years. Our board get a lot more flack than they deserve these days IMO, especially Marina - say what you want about her but she gets things done.
The hysteria in January for us to bring in paper cover signings like Mertens was a seminal moment for our growth at board level, it was a rare instance where the club were ahead of the fanbase - we were the ones panicking & they were staying calm. I saw this coming & expected a very good summer, but I didn't expect us to conduct our business this well
if ziyech and werner show anything like their form in their current leagues we will have one of the best squads in the league with depth, and hope a few can step up to really be worldclass.
Potentials for that are kante (already), kovacic, werner, ziyech, pulisic and maybe even mount, hudson odoi, reece james.
Ziyech and Werner looks to be about 80m for the pair. Which seems to be great business in todays market
Here's a good article giving some background to the recent activity.
