With a fit squad no reason we shouldn't finish strongly .

Really not missed it at all and kind of dread it coming back.

I know spurs are going to cause me misery, they always do, but for some sick reason I keep coming back.

Preferred it when there was no football.

Even though spurs still managed to embarrass us with the furlough thing.

Agree

How is the job search going Eddie ?

As you well know the problems with this team, when they are fully fit are:
1. The back four ... aging Vertonghen and Alderweireld, disorganized at the sides, Aurier and Davies.....
2. In the middle with NDombele who promised much for a price and brought little to the table. Not exactly what Lo Celso needed.
3. The manager ... love him or hate him, he's here for now!

I do not see this team going 3 for 3.
No European footy next year is my prediction.
Sorry ....

I have not missed football one iota. The hype and over the top nonsense over the modern game is such a turn off.

However with a fully fit squad I expect Spurs to win most, if not all of their remaining games, starting with beating United.

Chitty , I've had a few interviews here and there but most of it's on hold till the Crises eases up

Of course it's possible, but improbable, in my opinion.

A lot of football can be placed down to how a team 'feels'. And even though we have a lot of good players in the squad, the team just doesn't 'feel' right. You could probably name five different best 11's at the moment. This could be a good thing, but it also means that there is no real cohesion in the squad. That is still to be fixed IMO, and will mean mistakes are made which will cost us points, as it already has.

Having Kane & Son back should defo make a difference and based on that I'm hopeful of a good end to the season. With that said, i wouldn't be getting too carried away..... kane has not played any competitive football in 6 months and is historically slow to find his form after injuries and long lay-offs (Remember when he couldn't score in the first month of the season). Sadly many of the issues that dogged us this season haven't gone away..... Can Dele find some consistency, what is really wrong with NDombele & can we fix him, Can GLC establish himself as the new Eriksen. Add to that, all the FBs at the club are poor, the two Belgians are old and sanchez has done nothing but regress in the past 18 months.......We have some good individuals but the squad is still poorly constructed and unbalanced. If we restart this season with Winks & Sissoko in the middle of the park then nothing will change.

The United game will be facinating. Worth baring in mind they will have Rashford and Pogba fit again and were in far better form that us before lockdown..... Defo no gimme

We defo will not win all our games but I still expect us to win more than we lose. Not expecting any clean sheets either but we should be firing on all cylinders with Son and Kane back. Hoping Jose starts Kane on the bench against Utd and eases him into the remaining games.

Start with Son, Dele and Stevie B/Moura to add some pace and guile to the attack then bring Kane on the second half.

Away teams in the German league have won way more than home teams so I expect a similar trend to continue in the Prem.

Quite happy for Jose to park the bus against Utd considering they have Rashford, Progba back with the addition of Bruno, who will need to be carefully marked. We have to win this game. COYS !

Without being funny mate, Kane needs to start against United. No time for easing players in, they need to be at it from the off, they have all had three months rest, so no real excuses.

‘ But on the pitch, coming soon, are 3 games. 3 games that will shape up this over long, over due and honestly should have been sent to the bins of history!’

No offence OP but I’m struggling to understand what this means. Is English your first language ?

No way will Kane be on the bench. He and Son have to start for us to maximise our chances

Anyone who thinks Kane will be on the bench has clearly had too many jägers!!

all the optimism will likely be gone after 15 minutes v man u when we make a defensive fack up resulting in a goal and look slow turgid and toothless going forward.
