I have it downloaded ready to go tomorrow. The reviews for this game have hit the same heights as the first, but seems to follow a much more brutal darker storyline. (not that I know anything other than a few trailers.

The graphics look phenomenal, to think this is running on a PS4 seems like some kind of dark magic. it is hard to imagine what awaits us on the PS5.

But this will be one hell of a send off for the PS4.

Does this usually happen? Most games I’ve wait to buy are still top dollar if the game is good. GTA etc rarely dropped for the first few years

OK quick first thoughts, been playing the game for half hour or so. Presentation and graphics are stunning, Story has already grabbed me, No idea what is happening but already has me intrigued.

I can already tell this game, is something special.

Oh well back to game.

oh i dont think theyve played it, there were leaks about the game ages back and people kicked off about the 'wokeness' with one of the characters or something. i didnt read the whole thing so dont know the exact details of the leak

Yeah getting it today and will give it a crack, probably all stuff being shoved down people’s throats I guess but people do not seem happy at all. To get a 3 rating after thousands of reviews does not seem good at all, as the first game probably had the best story of any game made

Metacritic is almost certainly being spammed by sad xbox users. The game is only out today, so no way they have played through it.

So far I'm impressed, very impressed. the same feel but some new mechanics to freshen things up. and a pminous fell to the game. early days but so far so good.

Not sure if that’s the issue but read reviews talking about a trans character. It’s been documented that Ellie is a lesbian for the past few years since the first leaks

I remember Ellie was friends with a black female character in the first game, I think it’s a mode you play them together after completing the campaign. You can tell they were very close to each other and had an attraction there.

Yeah I played the Ellie dlc, don’t remember about the relationship though. Wasn’t Ellie still a kid
