Pogba will start. He’s got a level of entitlement few others have, and won’t have to play his way back in
you predict you'll go 5 at the back?

It seems to be our go to away from home formation in the big games
you should pump us with that 2nd team. very good on paper

It works quite well too.
I think that preferred setup is pretty risky for Spurs, Robb.
I’d tweak a bit to:
—————DDG—————
AWB Maguire Lindelof Shaw
—————-Fred—————
————McT—Pogba——
—————Bruno
———Martial Rashford
The scenes when Matic is in the first XI tonight!
I'd be surprised if Pogba starts this one

I don't think you mean entitlement. Or I hope you don't anyway.
And should Rashford have to play himself back in then, he's been out for a few months, why should he get to stroll back into the team just because school meals?
Though the way Ole has been talking Pogba won't be immediately dropped into the first team, rumblings of 30 mins, 60 mins etc, the guy hasn't played for 6 months, and even training's probably been a bit low key, so no idea whether he's quite there yet.
But I can't be the only one to look at the prediction and think "urgh", one creative midfielder, and at least one defensive full-back, doesn't scream free flowing beautiful stuff to me.

I reckon that's what it will be, probably with Matic in place of Fred.
Crazy how central midfield all of a sudden looks our strongest area of the pitch.
We have to keep the 5 at the back for the big games... Its been so effective
Whether it works with pogba as one of the 2 more holding players is another matter
I think he’ll go with Bailey and Maguire, got a feeling if fully fit he’ll start to prefer Bailey over Lindelof.
Could be a back 3 with Shaw involved in it as well as Williams wide.
I think he’ll go with Rashford and Martial split strikers with Bruno central ahead of the midfield.

It does when you put three of them in there. Any given combination of two is a different matter right now, at least.
If we’re only going with a 2 man midfield it should be Fred and McT as they played well together before the break.

Bring Pogba in later If we are chasing the game.
I’d like to see a 3 in mf, which stops Pogba from playing in a two he’s so bad at, and releases him to do damage.

I’d go with this too, or Bailly at the back perhaps instead of VL.
Martial and Rashford slightly wide with Bruno pushing forwards, almost as a deep striker at times. The 3 rotating as necessary
With Pogba and Rashford back, the options off the bench suddenly look great (if both start).
Greenwood
Ighalo
James
Jesse
Matic
Williams
Dalot

I think we have different ideas on what a great bench is 😛
Your predicted team is my preferred team. That formation has worked well against the tough teams and we need to make sure their threats are nullified while also having enough threat ourselves.
Pogba on if we are 2-0 at half time!
When Maguire and Lindelof play together, usually Lindelof is on the right and Maguire on the left.
Also we don't play a flat 532 formation.
Yeah I can’t see Pogba starting. Could a 3-4-3 work like we did against Liverpool? I would love to have rashy, tony & Mason up top from the start
Actually scratch that, we need as much creativity as possible in the midfield as they will likely sit back and let us have possession which we normally struggle with.
0-2 think you'll pick up where you left off.
—————DDG—————

this does look like a pretty decent team.
