Looking forward to seeing a...
Fit Kante for his proactive ball-winning ability and shuttle movements.
Fit Loftus using his body strength and press-resistant nature to glide past players on the ball.
More opportunities for the best finisher in the academy Tino Anjorin (Pedro & Willian's contractual problems may give him that).
More debutants.
And last but not least a...
Fit Hudson-Odoi for his standout all-round ability.
Our most productive and talented attacker needed for the run-in. Underrated generational talent.

Going back 20 years we used to win there regularly - need to get back to those days!
Empty stadiums could work in the favour of our youth, as that's what they were accustomed to (not too long ago) and less pressure to an extent.
https://youtu.be/eAO0-wr8Guo
Would be brilliant to see all the scorers in that match link-up together at senior level, at some point in the very near future.
Experienced players tend to need fans to gee them up, Girooo is one of them.
I want 0-2 & a Mount goal

He basically needs to get his fackin act together, take good advice from the right places, concentrate on what he's employed to do, & knuckle down,
I'm not sure under rated covers it
Underrated is exactly what Hudson-Odoi is, because there are idiots...absolute blithering irrational idiots slandering his ability, mentality, character, application/ethic on the pitch (from last season to this season).
When all the while this kid is topping the important advanced (underlying) metrics and been very competitive against Europe's best in his age bracket and much older, proof as follows:

Definition of elite multi-faceted skillset, right there those metric links.
Without having had any pre-season, starting out his career...coming back from one of the most serious (potentially career-ending) injuries that can happen to an explosive attacker.
High-quality metrics this season confirming what I've already known and see...Phenomenal Super
Cals' approach play and ceiling is a long way ahead of the rest our current attackers...in terms of talent, intricate play, consistently dangerous productivity and ability to be effective stretching play or playing those effortless switch of play passes on either side of the pitch (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UG412xS1lQQ).
Playmaking weight of passes and crossing are exquisite top quality for his age and great at reading striker movements in the box.
Could have showed unruly behaviour or kicked up a fuss last season after being utterly screwed over by the predecessor but nope, kept his head down applied himself in training as evidenced by Green's elaborate insight into how Hudson-Odoi works in training: (https://video.twimg.com/amplify_video/1180919448376610816/vid/720x720/zGUEK12DzOkYCFha.mp4 & https://video.twimg.com/amplify_video/1183437998513369088/vid/720x720/tPtNed8fujb8uPEZ.mp4)
Always been one of the brightest and hardest workers in training (along with Mount, Tammy, RJ). Plenty of teammates and coaches can attest to that.
Hence fast-tracked into senior squad at club and international level.
Strong drive & mentality to reach new heights the lot of them, unlike Hazard who is content with plateau, turning up to pre-season overweight and half-hearted in training.
Delivered almost every-time in his limited opportunities on the pitch last season (from pre-season until he picked up the injury, numbers speak for themselves).
Imagine where he'd be now had he not been grossly mismanaged by the previous regime.
That’s not even to mention the racial abuse on his full international debut.
Cal gone through quite a lot of mental challenges in his short career and has come through it with flying colours.
Easy to see why Hudson-Odoi is revered by current coaches and teammates at club and international level.
Tremendous mental fortitude and ability.
Talent hasn't even began to scratch the surface or become maximised yet! Let that sink-in.
Lastly...a well deserved contract that reflects his capabilities and potential.
Bayern actively coveted him and were prepared to pay record fee at the time for a reason
Swear to god I signed in 30 mins ago, saw that comment by Sheriff & thought I'll gave it approx 2-3 hours.
Came back now, saw the 8th comment & knew exactly what it was
Never change mf
I know right.... To be fair you can't fault the effort he's (cmf) put into it
there's actually a school of thought that says Callum Hudson Odoi is overrated - but that's just I'll informed opinion...he just needs to apply himself
And by applying himself I mean in games... When he gets the chance - I'm sure he's had loads of people telling him how good he is or could be he needs to show it in the crucial moments
He's made me reflect on my personal position on CHO since the start of this season, makes some very good points & knows him from his youth football WAY better than I do - his confidence must stem from somewhere. The only reason CHO could be perceived as underrated now (I actually agree), is cos people were lauding him as the next Messi before he'd even kicked a ball at pro-level. Everyone needs to calm down a bit where he's concerned IMO, let him do his thing & see what happens.
His point about empty stadiums being a benefit to the youth I think will aid CHO the most. The illusion of no pressure with no fans in attendance could do him the power of good
Funny how Sancho who he is compared with has managed fine though

Is the prediction thread continuing for the Vanilla game anywhere Sheriff?

Different people, different circumstances. Coming through our youth academy as the 'golden one' will come with so much pressure arguably intensified because of Lampard's successes with the other young players this season. Sancho had more room to breathe in Germany from the start and capitalized on momentum when given his chance.
CHO hasn't really had a surge of momentum yet, it's been a bit staggered, but I'm prepared to wait until he does now.
Anyway. Game time in 15 mins.
Can't f***in wait
Suprised Gilmour hasn't kept his place. I understand the thinking of starting RLC though.
As a midfielder he gives us something different to the rest we have to choose from - including a goal threat.

You know me...True to form, when I feel it is necessary to defend against slander or inane remarks
I'll defend any Chelsea player in that situation
Particularly Chelsea players in the infancy of their senior career at top level.
