I’m surprised Mourinho was in such a rush to get back into management. He hasn’t appeared to be enjoying the game for years.

I still find it funny when I remember those deluded and clueless united fans who wanted José. The guy was finished at Chelsea and on a major decline after his final real season. By time he got to United he was well finished.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Still won the league at Chelsea. And two trophies with us. So if that’s finished god knows what the other managers were...

He is finished at the top level Math, after Spurs no top club will look at him and I reckon he will end up managing Portugal.

In his prime one of the best even if I did not enjoy the pragmatic style of play he uses, as his record is excellent.

Those days are gone though as that style of play will not work anymore IMO.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

You don't know that at all. He is at the age where Fergie had not even peaked.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No I dont know it for sure of course not.

Hence why I said in my opinion.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Well my opinion is he will do well at Spurs.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Fergie adapted as the game changed. Jose has failed to do that and has been left looking a bit old school. I said a few years ago that I thought he was finished as a top manager and nothing he has done since that has changed my opinion. Quite the opposite in fact.

Martial was garbage though
----------------------------------------------------------------------

If by Garbage you mean winning 3 player of the month awards out of 5 and then getting dropped for no reason to make way for a finished Sanchez... then yeah he was garbage.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He was talking about his performance on friday tbf
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Really? I thought this was about the past contributions of forwards playing under Jose?

Apologies if not.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He also mentioned Drogba, Zlatan & Ronaldo as well.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Martial is definitely the odd one out in that company

He didnt really say anything bad about Martial tbf.

But the whole rant is typical of that ego-driven maniac. I've always said that one of the main reasons things ended the way they did at United (and Chelsea) is because all he really cares about is his own reputation, not the club. Predictably nothing has changed in that respect. Feel for Spurs fans - they're in for a tough time under him.

FFS, they've gone from 14th to 8th in 3 months without the manager having even a summer window, what do you mean tough time? He's doing well.

Do people not care about facts?

He is doing well. Without a summer transfer window He's taken a squad that isn't his that had low confidence from 14th to 8th in a few months. He has done well.

They were 3 points from 5th when Poch got sacked, 18 games later and they're 4 points off 5th.

I just checked because i suspect you're a liar. You were 11 points off 4th after 12 games when the previous manager was fired. You are currently.6 points off 4th after 30 games.

So yeah, you're a liar. Had you kept going under the previous manager, the gap currently would be around 26-27 points. It's 6 now because of Mourinho.

Tottenham were 14th when Mourinho first took over. They are now 8th.

You might want to recheck that math Wahl

I think the comment was made before Chelsea won against Aston Villa.

So the gap's what, 8 points? Much smaller than the 27 point gap it would have been had Mourinho not replaced the former manager.

Some of the teams above Tottenham in the leauge tbale on the day Mourinho took over:

Bournemouth
Burnley
Crystal Palace
Newcastle
Brighton

That's the state that team was in when Mourinho joined them. The fact that they're even talking about top 4 AT ALL at this point shows that's done a good job.

Whether he gets results or not don’t change people’s opinions of him as an individual or the style of football he employs.

He was whining about the first penalty after the game on Saturday. Instead he should have been on about how crap the service was to Kane and Son.

Jose Mourinho has achieved more in his life then all of you sad pathetic dead end 9-5 job losers with ugly girlfriends/wives will ever achieve in 1000 lifetimes.

Just want to make sure you all understand that. How pointless pathetic and meaningless your lives are compared to Mourinho's. Someone who's actually done something that matters.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
this statement proves you're the most pointless, pathetic and meaningless poster on this site.
you have to be a 14 year old girl because no man would cream their pants for a washed up has been of a manager. or any manager for that matter.
your probably the type of person that says everyone is jealous of trump because he's rich (supposedly).
clueless but funny.
