These players are not suited to play the way Arteta wants to play. He needs time to get the deadwood out of the door.

We had only Hendo yesterday playing from when Klopp took over in 2015. All are replaced in the last 5 years.

Problem is you still had individual players that you sold for inflated fees e.g. Coutinho, Benteke, Sakho, Ibe, Solanke etc that allowed you to reinvest in other areas of the squad that needed surgery. We very rarely get those sorts of fees for our players, so it'll be harder for us to sell and replace with superior quality.

The Coutinho sale was a real jackpot winner, though.

games got 1-1 written all over it. Been beyond useless this second half
