Hopeful for at least a point tomorrow.
My biggest worry with this run-in apart from potential injuries is Meslier. I just can't remember one really good save he's done since he's been playing.
The run of wins we had before lockdown had clean sheets, but Meslier didn't have an awful lot to do with them.
Just can't see him having a MoM performance in any game. Looks just like he is - a young lad between the sticks still learning his craft. Let's hope the defense can do a better job protecting him from here on in.
Lose tomorrow and we really are in trouble
Lose tomorrow and we are still in the driving seat, really. Fulham need a win more than we do. They will have to go for it from the start. In the heat that we have been having this week that will be no mean feat.
Can see Mitrovic bullying the hell.out of cooper and white tomorrow. Can see referee being weak as 5hit and penalising cooper and white every time mitrovic backs into them.
Cant stand Tom Cairney. He reminds me of mason mount from last season.
Knockaert and cavaleiro are quality.
Only weakness they got for me is there centre backs are gash.
Plus if i was mitrovic i would proper go through meslier and rough him up at first oportunity.
Can see that happening too.
They must have more weaknesses than us because they have been behind us all season...

Meslier v Mitrovic at set pieces
You can tell football is back and Leeds are in action today... the negativity on here is back after one defeat. Gotta love being a Leeds fan

I think it's a question of trust, do we trust this team to get results in end of the season pressure games, this team is still mostly made up of players from last season and seasons in the recent past...well do you trust them, do we collectively trust them?
Today will go somewhere I think for an answer to the question of trust.
I've been trying to stay positive but after such a long wait, last weekend's result was a real kick in the nads.
Today's game may well decide our season.
I just hope we take hold of this one and show Fulham and the rest we mean business this time. I've been on this rollercoaster for 50 years. Enough already!
PS where are Jonty and JLA these days? I miss you guys!
Im in bits this morning. Wondered whether it would mean as much with 3 months out. My first thought on waking up - Leeds United. Done nothing but think of them since. Singing the songs, whistling the tunes. Butterflies from 9am. Shed a small tear listening to Strings for Yasmin. My mind and body are saying today is it. Win this and we are almost there.
Win this and we are there. No doubt about it. I think a draw is more than enough.
4 points from next two games definitely will be enough.
We should win all our games too. We are the better side in every single One of the fixtures remaining.
Despite all the above being absolutely true I’m so nervous. Even if we lose today we should still be very confident of winning the league. That’s just not how it works though and momentum and confidence is huge.
Let’s just do what we do with minimum mistakes and hope the ref doesn’t screw us again like last time.

Fair point about trust.. I’m expecting big things from Bamford today
Bamford has his critics, he does miss some chances, but when he's not playing we certainly miss him, his hold up play is very good and he links up well in attack.
I think he will benefit from an empty stadium as some fans make it very clear they don't like him and it must get to him.
If we don't lose this i'm confident we will make it.
The last time we were promoted to the top flight, Liverpool were the first division champions.
An omen!!
Even though Bamford was apparently terrible last game he still managed to set up the best chance either side had so.
Hopefully he sets up some more of those today.

Afridi I'm glad to see most of the usual suspects have restrained themselves from the sexual fantasies of Bamford scoring, apart from the 'Bamford brace' nutter!
Perhaps we can return to 'normal' sexual fantasies now?!
I'm going for 2 - 1 Leeds....Bamford to score twice!! 😀

What I found hilarious from last match thread was someone that defended Bamford when he blocked the goal bound shot by saying Harrison had 7 other yards to aim the ball at
Im going for a Bamford double today too
I don’t think there is a defence of Bamford based on performance against Cardiff but then I can’t remember Klich Harrison doing much either.
One thing I will say regardless of his lack of finishing is over the course of this season in this current squad, you could argue Bamford is one of our most integral players. Not based on outright quality but the balance and structure he brings to the team. His ability to run the channels, link up and hold up play is essential to a Bielsa set up and as much as we can be negative, we saw the loss of shape when Nketiah came on or when Bamford was missing.
Bielsa has faith in Bamford, and so should the fans he has his faults but he is still our best option this season.

Was definitely more Harrison’s fault than Bamfords. Much harder for Bamford to get out the way than it was for Harrison to not kick it at him.
