Nuno has Wolves extrmely well organised and drilled in the work expected of them. Passing back might seem negative, but it draws the opposition on and gives us space to pass it through midfield and spray those long diagonal balls.
Not only is this a headache for the opposition, they are left chasing the ball, while Wolves players conserve energy letting the ball do the work.
It's actually really well done and needs organisation and discipline to work. I love watching the opposition struggle to break through, while aware we could break on them at any time.
Love it

Really good point that Amiga, and one I hadnt really considered, But you're right dragging packed midfields and defenses out to move them around and make space is what we often do. I wont complain about a free kick in a so called attacking position ending up back with Coady or Patricio again.

What worries me is Moutinho, a fabulous player and one of our best. Problem is his age and the number of games he plays. He obviously cannot keep going much longer and he would leave a very large hole when he goes. For those reasons I think we need to get in a capable replacement as cover.
Saiss, although I like him is likely to cost us in the long run with his mistakes and bookings so again I would like cover/ replacement for him.
Controversial one now. Jota does not score enough goals or make assists for a player of his ability. Again I would be looking at Neto playing more regularly and bringing in a proven striker/winger.
I like the look of the Norwich guy Todd Cantwell and dare I say it
Greasy Jack from Villa.
Just a few early thoughts.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I would agree with a lot of that Boston.
Moutinho has had an incredible career and if you look back he has been playing over 40, sometimes 50 games a season regularly since 2005. But he can’t go on forever.
I always thought Saiss’s future with Wolves would be as a defender. He does give silly free kicks away and get unnecessary bookings but he has done well in that position.
Jota is a frustration. At his best he is world class but he has spells when he falls well short of that. Contrary to a lot of opinions I think he has played well since the restart apart from missing that sitter at Villa. Neto has it in him to be as good as anyone we have but whether he is quite ready to be a regular I’m not sure. And Podence Is another option in that position.
As for new players I just can’t imagine Villa selling Grealish to a local rival. I do think he is an excellent player who could do with diving less. But Villa would already be down if it wasn’t for him.
Cantwell is a good shout who could be groomed as Moutinho replacement.
Unfortunately Man U have already signed the perfect replacement for Moutinho. Bruno Fernandes would have slotted into our midfield and been the perfect partner for Neves as they know each other and have played together before.
Tonight I'm a Brighton fan and will be cheering them on hoping for them to grab a point or 3
Be surprised if Brighton beat Utd but they might nick a point
Brentford currently 2 up away and that takes them within 2 points of Albion. Could the baggies possibly miss out?

Of course they could miss out. They have previous for missing out
Incredibly one sided first half at Brighton. Utd improving. Brighton will be glad they have points in the bag to avoid the drop on this showing
I just messaged the other half to say Brighton are bending over and taking it in the botty, but of course you mustn't really say that about Brighton.
I've been impressed by Fernandez in the post lockdown games, he's really dragged man u to another level. If they keep this form up we'll struggle to finish above them.

Their run in is a joke. We have next to zero chance of finishing above them. More likely we catch Leicester to be honest.
Fernandes just scored his second to put Utd 3 up.
Ah well! 5th was nice for as long as it lasted,
Good that Utd have Chelsea and Leicester in their last two games. They can’t all win. And Chelsea end with Liverpool, Utd and Wolves. Plenty to play for
Just noticed that Albion haven’t scored in any of their last 4 league games
Unfortunately Liverpool will be dialing in the run in I suspect.
We have gained 10 points on Leicester in the last 6 games. I think they're the ones who may well finish outside a Champions league spot. We're top of the form table for the last 6 matches too.
Man Utd look good now they have Fernandes and Pogba in midfield. They have a decent run in too. Think we are more likely to catch one of Chelsea or Leicester than gain more points than United.
Another goal tonight to add to the theory that var has one rule for some teams and another for lesser teams.
Man Utd’s second goal saw Martial take the ball out of play on the right but being allowed to carry on. Then after the ball was switched to the left Luke Shaw was played through and was clearly offside before pulling the ball back to set up the goal
Our commentators replayed the point where the ball was out of play, but the ruling was that it was 32 seconds before the goal was scored, thereby being to long for any panel to alter the decision. Clearly the assistant ref got it wrong. I have to say though that Shaw did look offside from what I saw. Strange they didn't use the imaginary lines to prove the point this time, at least not on our showing.
Lars Dendoncker who has a brother well known in Wolverhampton is evidently on the point of joining Brighton from Bruges
Paul Cook's Wigan have gone in to Administration today citing the Covid crisis as the main factor. Possibly, but hopefully not, the first of many. I doubt there will be a long queue of businesses/business men wanting to invest in lower division clubs at the moment. Grim times and a shame in Wigan's respect as their results of late had dragged them well clear of relegation. The EFL's 12 point deduction rule if applied would put them bottom of the league, four points from safety.
I suspect there are a number of clubs in a perilous financial position like Wigan and Bury. No surprise if more go to the wall this year. Saving grace for some clubs may be that the EFL were meeting today to try to agree a start date for the 20/21 season. But unless fans can attend the games that won’t help them much
