What’s to understand? Is your whole point that you know some Liverpool fans that haven’t been to Anfield?
Wtf..
Cool story bro..
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The whole point of the article was the opinion you had of Liverpool fans in your circle.
I answered it and you didn’t like my answer.
Now you’re getting a little upset.

It asks of opinions of neutral fans, says so in the title.. are you a neutral fan when it comes to Liverpool?

That this ridiculous article deserves such a ridiculous response, yeah.
Who are these neutrals you’re hoping to respond?

From my experience, people tend to be either a Liverpool fan or have a real dislike of them, there’s not much middle ground (which personally I’m in).
I think a lot of that has to do with age though, I grew up in the eighties and due to their success, they got a lot of supporters from market towns and there were two camps - people either supported them or they didn’t like the people that did - their experience was based on the market town supporters rather than the hardcore support. Same thing happened with United in the nineties.
Im not neutral now, i accept that, i dislike lpool. But i was a neutral when i moved up there. My time there shaped my views. Agree with melton blue really, to be orher than lpool fans most people dislike them, good shout on the success of the 80s shaping some peoples views.
I just find most of them so defensive and unable to accept any critisism of thier club.
Will add in i mean most of the lpool fans i know/met. Which i accept is not a reflection on the whole fanbase

Exactly. We’ve managed to find a nice middle ground really where we’re successful but still don’t have any fans.

Guys such as Red and Fields make people dislike Liverpool, imo.
I loved the seventies Liverpool team growing up, and love the city, but some fans are fundamentalist in their attitude....as a Chelsea fan, they hated us challenging their devine right to win.
Look how city team bus was met for daring to again challenge the team in red.
I lived in lpool for 4 years and really struggled to talk football with lpool fans, the majority of them were just cringe.
Now where i work and people i know the majority of them dont like lpool and cant stand the majority of thier fans.
.............................................
Obviously I’m not particularly neutral about Liverpool, I have always liked Klopp though and they have been brilliant the last couple of years.
I went to Uni in the city, four years, and while it’s a great place they are unbelievably “one-eyed” when it comes to talking football, Everton fans are pathetic too.
I was there when Rafa was manager and thought the football was atrocious, so did non-rival fans, my mates who supported Villa, Wolves and City thought they were tough to watch and didn’t like talking football with Scousers. I know Forest, Derby and Celtic fans who can’t stand Liverpool as well.
Good debate guys, really wasnt trying to wum or start a war of words. I admit i dislike lpool and hate seeing youbwin the league, but you have played great football over the last few seasons and are worthy champs

Mostly banter and fun...but quite telling.
And from Celtic, Rangers, Leeds, Villa, Utd, Derby and City fans.

You just have to look at this thread. Asking neutrals their opinion and it gets swamped by Liverpool fans. They can't handle criticism and think everyone should love them. The have the largest collection of argumentative fans on Ja. They suck all the enjoyment out of any debates on here.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
There are decent pool fans, but you have a point, Cal.
I Made a light hearted joke about Stevie G slipping on a reds thread and was booted off right away.
We have Rangers V Celtic live threads that are far more chilled and open to banter....that's why football is fun.
Some reds are just too extreme.
Fieldsofanfield is a classic example of why i dislike some lpool fans when it comes to football, cant accept any critisism and are incapable of having a debate because of this

You don’t think this is a ridiculous article?
The OP has an axe to grind regarding LFC fans. His posting history confirms it. If he needs other rival fans (never going to give a neutral opinion) to reinforce his daft opinion expect it to be laughed at.
There’s not handling criticism and then there’s laughing at the neediness of the OP and pathetic nature of the article.
