Hello and welcome to the board, Canada. You're not alone when you write about jinxing our chances - I never ever make predictions, these days. But superstition is irrational and I think that's okay in this context. Being a Leeds fan is pretty irrational, no?!

Welcome Canada

You’re talking bollox though - get a grip 😂😂

Nah seriously superstitious behaviour isn’t abnormal at all!

I mean, I can’t change my pants till Tuesday night FFS

Canada don't miss another minute, enjoy the roller-coaster. I intend doing so.

As for your poor streams, invest a fiver a game on the OS or look for the link I posted on High's post yesterday.

Welcome to the most popular JA site. You have joined at one of our best times over far too many years. I thought of another of our older Canadian fans. Anne. She hasn't been on for some time but used to to tell us of her early mornings to tune in and follow the action.
Enjoy the banter as we end off the memorable season.

Thanks guys. I'm actually an ex-pat originally from Bramley. I've been reading the 606 stuff since the League 1 days I even managed to turn my 2 sons (who were both very young when we emigrated) into Leeds fans during those dark days. Not an easy feat although maybe it helps that there's a local parallel here with the Toronto Maple Leafs - a team whose glory days are a distant memory and whose fans also deserve much more than the mismanagement they endured for years.

Stoke the game I think. Champagne on ice.

I think you'll find the difference was something much more reasonable. My little brother wore his lucky shirt this week.

You might have a point. First live game was the Barcelona semi so the bar was set quite high. To counter, can anyone who followed League 1 games weekly only with a BBC and 606 text updates and bit of imagination really be a glory hunter?

I lived on the Fairfield estate (rough part!) early '60s....

then Rayneville estate (still roughing it!) late '60s....

then upmarket move next door to Barley Mow pub!

Finished up at Greenhill Way (nearly middle class!)

Then I got married! (early 70s)
