Pepe was successful in France by playing in the same spaces. Make him less of a playmaker and more of a run-at-defenders-and-play-simple-passes guy.

I was thinking about this but I'm not sure you know.

Even if we do win today, we will be up against one of Leicester/Chelsea, Man United or Man City (unless Newcastle pull a rabbit out the hat). All those teams are above us in the league and we've already lost to everyone bar Man United.

I think both routes are going to be very hard for us to secure European football.

Laca 9, Pepe 7 and Willock 5 have the most goals from that XI.

Although only Saka has scored an FA Cup goal this season.

We don't need to win it, just be the team to progress the farthest without a European place from other routes.

Only winners get a Europa place.

7th in the league.

Ah. I was mistaken then.

Runners up used to get it, but that changed in about 2015. Now it is winners only, and then transfered to the league. Same with the EFL Cup.
