How Jose can be a success long term

He will not change his style of play.

It is entirely possible that he’s right on Ndombele.

I’m not a Spurs fan but allow me to offer a non Spurs view of the situation. Jose was brought in to make you winners. Ndombele seems like a ‘Spurs’ player in the sense that he looks all style and no substance. Perhaps Jose has looked at him and seen a guy who doesn’t have the stomach to be what is needed to reach that higher eschelon.

So you are basically Ndombele is the answer to the problem even though the guy is lazy and so far everytime he has played not tracked back. Great solution LOL

With regards to Ndombele I honestly don't think there is any issue with Jose . I think a lot of it is down to the players attitude , Alistair Gold even said that after the West Ham game he was watching the warm down and Ndombele was just bumbling along whilst Gedson was running his socks off. it's also a case of Ndombele and Lo Celso are to similar a player , on performances would you drop LoCelso for Him with out a quality dm ?

I think the game plan long term will be a new DM and Ndombele and Lo Celso as a two.

So you want Jose to be someone else.

Not asking him to. When he was a top manager his team's generally weren't all out defence when 1-0 up. That inter away at Barca is famous but he didn't win the treble playing like that every week.

There's a balance. If we had the same mentality in the second half v United as we did in the first we probably would have scored again and won the game.

He is right about Ndombele. I 100% back him on that one.

Style of play is poor but if he wins us a trophy next season then its acceptable. If it doesn't then it isn't. Simple.

Alot of Spurs fans like style above substance. "Poch played great football, wins f all but we love him." That's a classic Spurs fan response. Enter a winner like a Jose and their backs are up. Make me ashamed to support the same club.

very debatable youre a spurs fan anyway tbf

I think a lot of the reason my self included can't take to Jose is the style of play.

As Spurs fans we've always enjoyed fast attacking football as long as I can remember but bar a League Cup and the Aldi cup what have we won in the last 29 years ?

I'd happily take fossil football if it brings trophies year after year , rather than being good old spurs they always let you down.

LOL. You would love to see us lose to prove you are right on your Jose stance. During the match threads all you do is spout negativity. You ran like a little female dog when the game was won and you debate if I am a fan?!!! Such a dolly.

If Jose don't win a trophy with us has he been a failure ?

The virus has changed by perspective on Jose a bit. Before it I was contemplating giving up my season ticket.

Now I don't have to pay to watch it's a bit better.

The next time I'm in the stadium either we will be a lot better under Jose or he will be gone. Win win.
