An Alan Smith / Olivier Giroud hybrid?
Similar to Weighorst who used to play for Dundee and Celtic, except more of a team player.
He is very slow and is not suited if you want to play the Arteta way.
Very clever Barry you fud

The "Arteta Way" has yet to be defined. Maybe he wants a striker who occupies defenders and links up play, with the pace coming from the inverted wide men and #10 running past the striker.
He's the Dutch Rickie Lambert.
Liverpool fans, need to have an opinion on everything
humans have opinions omg shocker

I have seen the guy live play at AZ and when he came up against good defenders he was very mediocre.
Don't waste your money on him. You can compare him to Luuk de Jong who was at Newcastle United.

I had something to say. I thought it was quite clever. I giggled to myself and everything.
He’s a discount Olivier Giroud ffs
1 in 2 in the Bundesliga isn't bad, we've been missing a target man since we sold Giroud
Would be a great plan b option
The modern game is about a striker who has good movement, can roam between the opponent defence and midfield and can linkup with the wide players.
A prime example is our fourth goal against palace with Firmino dropping to midfield
There is only one way to play football
Without Xhaka we struggle to get the ball from defense to attack and no amount of Auba or Lacs dropping deep sorts that out
Balls over the top are worse than 50/50 so having a post to aim at will work

27 years old. Dutch international. 6ft 5" beast.
16 goals in 32 league appearances.
20 goals in 40 appearances in all competitions.
5 assists in all competitions.
10 yellow cards in 40 appearances.
Don't know a lot about him, but he seems a very different style striker to what we are used to.

Marcel van de Kraan wasn't exactly enthusiastic about the idea of him joining Arsenal.
