Pep is the type of guy who nails every girl on his street, even if some are just OK.

Jurgen nails less, but the girls he nails are in long term relationships with other men and are supermodels.

Pep has been lucky that he has been at clubs who have great players. Klopp has not had these great players.

But where Klopp is lucky is that he has been at clubs who had a great manager. When he was at Dortmund they had a great manager and now at Liverpool they have a great manager.

Pep has been a bit more unlucky in this sense in that the clubs he has been at have had very good managers (but not quite as great). When he was in charge of Barca they have a very good manager. Same with Bayern and now at City.

This is where Pep has had a massive disadvantage and I think it is what makes him the better manager, because of the limitations he's had to work with whilst at these clubs who didn't have great managers when he was in charge.

He defended the title in Germany and won another cup

Klopp is better.

Pep's Barcelona were the best team ever in World Football but he couldn't do what Klopp did at Borussia or Liverpool.

The 2 of them are the best in the business. The Prem should be proud to have these 2 battling it out for the top prizes.

So he has yet to prove he can sustain success.

Are you on dope?

On your logic, Pep hasn't sustained success either
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That's your logic, not mine.

He was at Dortmund for 7 years and at Mainz for about 7 as well. At Mainz he did well, missed out on promotion twice before getting them promoted, then led the team to finish 11th twice. Then relegatied and failed to get them promotion before leaving them.

He was hired at Dortmund in 2008. He won the league in 2011 and did the double in 2012. Other than that (excluding super cups) he didn't win anything else at Dortmund.

Pep won 3 leagues out of 4 under Barca, won the leagues under Bayern and 2 out of 4 at City so far.

What Klopp has now that he didn't have at his previous clubs is the chance to now sustain that success.

Pep took an underachieving Barcelona side and made it the greatest ever. Yes, that Barcelona side might have been star-studded, but it wasn't doing well at all and he made it great, by kicking out some big names and giving certain (primarily youth) players a new chance or a new role. The system he created was immensely successful and they played some beautiful football.

Pep was very much on the defensive in his presser when he made reference to all his titles.

It smacked of mourinho with his three titles.

In the end we need to say that Pep is a great manager and coach.

His actions at the outset for Barca for example were huge for their success. he (or the directors) dropped the hammer on ronaldinho, deco and e'tto. Thats huge, and he brought in busquets. etc.

Barca's later success was built on what pep and Begiristain did over the period. they have since utterly trashed themselves even from before MSN with poor midfield and defensive options.

Pep then didn't do quite as well at Bayern but won titles but not in europe (I don't think quite he had that same impact personally)

Klopp spent 7 years at mainz and 7 years at dortmund and now 7 years at LFC. He's broken the strangle hold of 2 dominant clubs in leagues and reached 3 CL finals.

Better is a harsh way to deal with either of these guys. They are iconic and deserve every accolade.

Klopp will say congratulations and see you next year.

Pep will say congratulations but look at me and what I did.

They're both well suited to the jobs they have.

As much as Pep won't be suited to the jobs Klopp has had, i'm not convinced Jurgen would suit a job where it's win or failure no grey area.

Don’t get the obsession with trying to compare them. Just enjoy watching the football they each get their sides playing.

If Klopp was at City and Pep was at Liverpool both sets of fans would be making similar arguments as to why their coach was “better”.

Just read that Pep has only failed to win the domestic title 3 times out of 11 in his career so far.
