Both of the Spanish big guns have dropped off big time.

Real Madrid actually been very good this season.

Madrid will beat city.

I think Man City will beat Real Madrid and might win it as it could be the last chance for a while for them.

City could well get the CL this year.

Madrid / Barca are not what they were, especially Barca, expecting a big drop off from them soon. The age profile of their squad is terrifying.

City could have made it 5 just now if Sterling hadn't got it all wrong.

Probably. But I'm not sure how the 2 away goals carry over? If they dont count theres only a goal in it - Madrid would definitely be in with a chance.

Amazing we went to the Etihad twice and won, including dismanting them in the league so much Guardiola had to completely change it after 30 minutes when it could have been 6 by then lol.

Yep, said for a while I can see City winning the CL this year

They lost as many league games as us this season. Could be an all Manchester UEFA Supercup. Mahrez misses. This could have beenembarrassing. Honestly think Liverpool were worse than last 2 seasons but completely fluked it.

KDB misses a decent chance. Should have taken a touch.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Real Madrid turn them over. City’s defence is absolute shiiiit. If Hazard can find a bit of form before the CL starts again they’ll be dangerous.

2 disallowed goals. Could have 7 or 8 with a bit of luck.

Fancy bayern for the CL I think. Demolished spurs and chelsea with ease.

That’s not hard, to be fair.

Bayern look the best team in it but it’s hard to tell how their long break without a competitive game will effect them.

Yup, that could well have an effect on them. Could be a telling effect too.

Same could happen with PSG. On the other hand, their players could be fresher for a condensed tournament while the others have a bit of fatigue after a heavy schedule prior.

They get what's effectively a tune up game (or should be anyway) against Chelsea before the quarters though. Which should help their sharpness

Big difference between the top two is at the back

As far as the game itself goes, I'm expecting more of what we have seen from both sides over the past few months.

Both teams have been incredible going forward but City are certainly not as strong as Liverpool are defensively, and I don't see them keeping the Reds out.

Shearer after posting that and watching Man City with small margins away from winning by 7 goals.

Yeah that’s true. Worked for them in the Bundesliga as well.
