First win over Wolves for the mighty Gunners.
Think we can forget about Champions League now. Doubt the teams above us will drop enough points. Need to be more concerned with holding on to top six.
Poor performance and poor result heading into the game against Sheff United.

Arsenal are washed up for sure ....should be 3 or 4 nil to the orange folk !
Or maybe Arsenal have been kidding the football world and are not really shat. It’s all been a ploy because they are desperate to win a game at the golden Mecca
We shall find out at full time but you can be sure to find all the up to date match news here on the worlds greatest match thread

Think Nuno got it wrong with Traore today. Not suited to the central role then played the last 20 minutes as a wing back which doesn’t suit him either. We were totally on top for 30 minutes after the break but we never looked a well balanced team today

Sorry to say, I totally agree, wrong set up from the start. Oh well, he gets it right more often than not. Really poor game.
Performance was a notch below recent ones and the opposition was better. We gave the ball away too many times in good positions and Traore was particularly guilty of that. 6/10 must do better.
One of those days we were not at the races and didn't get the run of the ball.
When we started to get going in the second half the drinks break stopped the momentum.
Difficult game as Arsenal have begun to play better.
Must now get a win on Wednesday to get back on track.
Feel a bit for Adama, as soon as he gets the ball he has three players round him and then he gets fouled.

Forget it. I we can't beat Arsenal at home we sure as shat won't beat United away.
I don't think our performance was that much below recent weeks. Just think the opponent was better. We havent been that great since the restart. We have been relatively passive in games, but we are so organised that lesser teams can't break us down.
We don't play with enough intensity or try to affect the game enough to finish much higher than we are now. Feels like we just try to stay in it and then nick the result.
All the teams above us look to control the game in a dominating way and actively try to win it. I think the caution first mentality is the main hurdle we need to get over to move to the next level. Hopefully, the summer will see is strengthen to allow Nuno to feel more comfortable doing that.
It was all my fault, I forgot to put on my team shirt
I had a bad feeling about our prospects beforehand though
I think Nuno said post match we need to circulate the ball quicker which sounds right

Agree, been saying that in previous comments, few agreed.
Usual voices of doom after we have lost a match. I really can’t get depressed about us losing one match in succession and one out of the last 8 in the league. Don’t understand why that means it’s now impossible to finish above any of the teams around us. During their last 8 games Man Utd have lost 3, Chelsea have lost 2 and Leicester have lost 4. I reckon some of you would be suicidal by now if you supported any of those teams

Agree 100%. When we look back when the season is over I think we are going to see a lot of missed opportunities where we simply didn't do enough to control/win games. Caution first will only get us so far, sometimes we have to be brave.
Our record against sides 15th or above is W4-D13-L6.
At home, our record against the sides 15th or above is W1-D7-L4
Are these numbers above correct? If so I think the problem is fairly obvious. Giving sides way too much respect.
Positive thoughts only please.

I wore my golden yellow underpants, (well yellow at the front), as I always do, and they seem to bring good fortune more often these latest seasons than they did in the years directly following our last relegation from the Prem. You have to have faith and believe.
Quite natural to feel a little disappointed after a defeat especially given that we know we can play better than we did yesterday but did we really expect to win all 9 restart games? Others have dropped points and will do so again, we still have a very good chance of qualifying for Europe again and a decent chance of the champions league still. It could be much much worse.
