Thank you View. You are right about the atmosphere at the Hebcroft. However, traditionally there was always an unsavoury element and too much violence. Now, much more family friendly and accessible. Not as authentic perhaps, but we have to move with the times.
Think the league will need to be on very legal solid ground to issue a points deduction while we are in sight of the play offs. If it denied the club a play off spot then the club would legally appeal and if successful would cause the league massive grief if they run the payoffs with someone else in Derby’s place. I would guess they would prefer Derby to finish 7th and then they can issue a notional point deduction that doesn’t relegate us or defer it to next season.
Eight academy players finished/started the game on Wednesday and it showed with an avaerage age at one point of 12 years and 4 months.
My U11 Cubs side had older players........
