Harry you're no Celtic Kiwi are you?

No, sorry I'm not Celtic Kiwi. I was on the bbc 606 years ago but I genuinely have no idea what my username was on that.

Where did you live in New Zealand? Been a couple of times and absolutely loved it, but only visited South Island.

Also I was previously called Harry Dunne after Harry in dumb and dumber. That name is not exactly the best to use for a couple of reasons nowadays. Being the dipshlt am I didnt realise I could change it until a few months ago now

Hope you get on more. Having weans is a tough gig. I remember our two I think we went first 4 or 5 months almost every meal was fresh pasta. Boil the water, bang it in, heat up a sauce, serve, jobs a good ‘un.

My diet has gone out the window since the wee fella arrived. Have massively packed on the beef which has resulted in me getting the regular KB from the missus......The good news is I am spending more time on the laptop so might be able to pop on 606 in between the pronhub visits

I was in Wellington mostly. Loved it, its a great place to live. Apart from Auckland I loved everywhere in New Zealand. Even Auckland is alright but its just a big city. Would have stayed but the wife's father's no well so we had to come back. Gutted. I remind her everyday its her fault though just to keep the romance alive

Am thinking of going over again in 1-2 years, but this time also seeing some of the North Island. Love the sou though. Incredible range of climates and scenery.
North Island is amazing as well. Best thing we did there was kayak the Whanganui river. Its big old Canadian kayaks and you basically just paddle down river from campsite to campsite each day. The side of the river is high green cliffs, kinda feels like you are in Jurassic Park. Cant recommend doing that enough

cheesy video but gives you an idea what its like
To be honest if you have been travelling south island already you will probably have seen more than my self. We were there for nearly 3 years but tended to just do quick visits to the South when pals came over. The south was amazing. Very jealous if you are getting to go back!

Thanks for the tip, that`s my kind of thing. That and cycling trails. Will see how much time I can get off. Not worth it for 2-3 weeks.

You can see all of the North Island in that time. A good cheat is to look up tour companies like Kiwi Experience (its expensive and for teenagers) and see the route they do.

Rotorua is the best place for cycling on the North Island but there are amazing places round Wellington as well. In Rotorua head to the Redwoods
