Yeah I'm aware of the running DVD joke, just thought it was a lame explanation, maybe should have just been honest from the start.

Of all AFTV's train wreck personalities he's the one I've always found boring as bricks. No idea how he became so popular on the channel, he's not insightful (they do have a few) or entertaining.

Basically saying that Asian looking people ambush you down the pub screeching DVD DVD whilst trying to sell you dodgy knock offs with subtitles.

It’s more a stereotype than anything.

I don't mind Claude at all, it is a couple of the others that continually swear and insult Spurs that I cannot stand. That DT is a few screws loose. Normal football supporters just don't act like he does.

But when you say it's a stereotype, it's obviously a negative, race-based stereotype. As much as it may have been intended harmlessly, it still sounds pretty racist to me.

That isn't what I'm asking. By definition a racial stereotype is racist, so a positive racial stereotype is still racist in its nature. Should they both be treated with the same contempt?

No that's not true...

Racist is defined as believe another individual is inherently inferior because of being a different race. If I was to say black sprinters tend to be quicker than white sprinters, that isn't racist even if it could be seen as a stereotype.

Apparently they tried to justify it by saying he meant the joke was about us bringing out a DVD for the result.

Troopz comment about Harry Kane is white so he must be right surely would have to have the same punishment if the sponsors are going down that route?
