Getting to the CL means more money to spend, keeping better players, less Sunday games and rangers playing catch up every 2nd week.

It’s not as simple as league is all that matters, getting to the CL makes it a helluva lot easier.

^^^^ this^^^^ reality is we need CL participation, we won't always have the KTs of this world to make good money on. I still think we need another left sided CB and a striker as well as GK, also still not convinced by Boli or Taylor. 3 Quality players should be enough

I think Welsh will be used as back up, we also have Biton and El Hammed who can play there.

Left back is a problem position, albeit Taylor looked a bit better last night.

Bookies are rarely wrong. Obviously wants a bigger challenge in a bigger job.

Having the transfer window open later does help us. Our board have been cautious on spending in the past until we have made the CL and then it is too late to strengthen for it so now if we do make it with what we have we will then have the opportunity to go spend the money we will make from it

Have they? It’s all relative though as their competition also have plenty too don’t they? Although to be fair things have changed somewhat due to Corona.

With Rangers he has by far and away the second highest budget compare to his competition. Is that any worse than Bristol City? I genuinely don’t know tbh.

Boris saying that he expects fans in England to be back in grounds by October.

I think a lot of lower league clubs in England could be in a perilous position by the time October comes around given the state of the finances in the Championship in particular.

It's an odd one but surely the red should simply mean that Kent can't play in the next game in the tournament.

It’s a 2 game ban if reported as violent conduct. Yet to be seen if it is reported as that but the rule book states that "A player who, when not challenging for the ball, deliberately strikes an opponent or any other person on the head or face with the hand or arm, is guilty of violent conduct unless the force used was negligible."

Rangers defence would likely be along the blurred lines of whether it was deemed “violent” or not if it gets that far.

I’d think a lot of Championship clubs could be in a perilous state by then. It kind of puts paid to the notion of us seeing any fans north of the border in grounds much before Christmas though
