Trent alexander arnold is a lock for young player of the year. Mount has been the second most impressive youngster imo. Been a fantastic season and doesnt need to score or assist to affect the games.
A pretty good assessment overall,Tammy, CHO and Cheeky still have to do a fair bit more, maybe need another season without injury hopefully, under their belts.
I think next year will give us a better idea of how far Abraham, Tomori, CHO etc can go. Will they be squad players or superstars?
Abraham isn't good enough. Will be in the championship in 5 years.
The ones I’m nearly 100% sure will be here for 3-5 years: Mount, James, Pulisic
Less sure: CHO, Tammy, RLC, Gilmour
Tammy, I do actually rate his future potential. I think at worst he’s a very useful squad player and I do think if he reaches his potential he could be a starter for us. I have put not sure though as I think if he was to become a squad player I just have a feeling (not based on much) he would want to leave and be first choice elsewhere.
CHO I do think is not as special a talent as we all once thought and I sympathise with him as this has caused massive expectation on him. But yeah at the moment I think his potential he can probably be a good PL winger, eg. Zaha, obviously still a great level to be. I just wonder whether he and the fans can have the patience with each other. There’s a risk this mutual frustration brooding with him and the fans.
I also put not sure for CHO (and Gilmour) because they’re both still very young. When players are teenagers it is very hard to predict future trajectories anyway. So I find it difficult to fully commit on how either will turn out right now. When I think about future potentials for teenage players (eg. My thoughts on Co’s potential above) I like to think of it with a very wide range of accuracy.
And on RLC, with this again being a feeling, I think injuries may be hampering his game to the point it is possible he leaves at some point (in next few years)

Sadly this may be true
Another Welbeck - unless he learns to distinguish which of his feet are which
