Lovely post Pags. There aren't many benefits to being as old as I am, but as a teenager I'd go to Elland Rd to see the great Seventies team. Then the Wilkinson team that got promotion and won the 1st division title. After that it was the O'Leary team that took Europe by storm. I may not be around when we eventually win the Champions League (as we surely will) but even so, as a Leeds supporter I've had more great moments than any football fan has a right to expect. I sense there's another great era around the corner and I'm thrilled for those young 'uns who'll finally witness just how immense their club is.

Remembering Chris and Kevin at this time too.
One of my favourite articles on JA606 ever. These guys would have loved what has happened with Leeds under Bielsa. I am sure they are looking down at events with pride.

Beautiful Sentiments from a Beautiful Lady
We lost a lot of friends and made a lot of memories, RIP to those not here to witness the phoenix rising.
Fair play to you Pags for looking at the bigger picture, you've always being a classy poster and to have a thought for those that have passed on shows this.
A special word for Harj, always a gent and I never had the heart to wind him up because I'd only look an idiot as he'd kill you with kindness.
Hope being back in the big time is everything that you have wished for this long 16 seasons and hope that our swords cross sooner rather that later.
π Stay safe you and yours and all. π·

Same here.
Lost one of my best childhood friends in April. He was a Liverpool fan. And it was so sad that he didn't get to be there when they finally won the title.
Never any bad blood between us, best friends. Always talking about the best things about each others clubs.
On a different note: I wonder where my country fellow man, Norway-Leeds has gone. Haven't seen any comments from him in a long while. Really do hope he's allright.
Feel lucky to have seen Leeds at last being promoted. Never thought it would happen in my lifetime.
Thank you Bielsa
Nice touch Pags.

beautiful sentiment pags
to all leeds fans past, present and future we're back.
Very nice sentiments. Remembering my younger brother Vic who could not hang on long enough to see that our long wait is now over. Buried with his Leeds United badge some 4 years ago. Thanks Pags
