No one expected Tottenham to struggle so much under Pockets and no one expected United to be so inconsistent. That's why no one predicted top 4.

Given those 2 teams struggled so much, expectations are revised and Chelsea really should make top 4 this season. We were in a great position to do so after the first 1/3 of the season and didn't consolidate our position and let United catch up to and eventually overtake us.

On course for the 2nd highest points tally of all time and winning as European Champs (how many other winners can say this?).

It doesn't matter because it's not the 1st highest points tally of all time and you're not European champs in the same season you've won the league.
