It’s completely fine if he’s dropped for tactical reasons or not performing but this is not the case anymore. It’s clearly political and because he refused to take a pay cut.
Could backfire if we miss on European football

What kinda foolishness is that. You're saying it's political as if the last 5 years of form aren't more than enough to never let him play football again anywhere, let alone this team.

He's been dropped because his a big fat and from something I read, it'd appear the other players have had a say in this decision too. Arteta wants his team happy and he figured out that dropping that waste of space is a MUST to accomplish that.

Let's hammer Watford and send them down
