Yeah following in Kane’s footsteps and likely doesn’t have to move home or anything . Most our Milwall loans are Successful
He definitely needs to be playing men’s football now, it will be interesting to see how he gets on.
Skipp and Foyth now please
Great move. Close enough for him to be monitored closely by the club too
Would prefer if he went to a different club to stop the Kane comparisons. This kid is so hyped up by some Spurs fans I fear they have already given him the kiss of death.
For me he has a long way to go and other players like Greenwood, Brewster, Nketiah and even the lad at Derby are ahead of him. Granted they have been given chances but Parrot seems to pick up injuries in a relatively short career already which has definately hampered him.
Not to mention some negative articles about his friends from Ireland. He has potential and now it is his time to show us what he can do. Best of luck to him.
From an ROI perspective I am very happy with this

Mason Greenwood is in a league of his own. He'll go on to break all sorts of records. I don't think comparisons should be made with someone who's already showing glimpses he can be world class.
My concern would be about how Millwall play. Does anyone know? If he needs toughening up and they play that way then it suits but if he needs to hone his technical ability I think he'd be better suited elsewhere. I've not seen enough of him to know how where his deficiencies lie.

Your second paragraph makes no sense at all. FYI.
He needs top flight minutes more than any playing style I would say at this point in time. Millwall finished 8th last season and play decent enough football weren’t especially prolific going forward or tight at the back

It absolutely does. If you fail to understand it, that's not my problem. My point is that a loan club should be targeted either with the loaning club's ethos in mind or the player's skill set (or lack of). Pep wouldn't loan a player to Burnley, for example, as he'd rather a young player develops the characteristics he hold dear - pass, move, press, high line etc. I think it's a valid point to ask how Millwall play for that reason.
If they're the same hit and hope, aggressive team I remember then, as depressing as it sounds, they couldn't be more suited or aligned to the long ball, hit and hope, Sunday league stuff we're playing at the moment.

If your point made sense if the first place you wouldn't felt the need to explain it again but I am glad you did because you are making some sense. Thank you.
Loans are hit and miss. Even Kane struggled in his various loan spells but he still made it. Putting a player in a team which doesn't suit his style is not a bad thing. He is young enough to learn and adapt. In time he might look back if Millwall doesn't work out and have regrets because he didn't do a few things differently like watching what he eats or training harder. Working on playing with his back turned to goal, holding the ball up and running into space for example.
It's not bad thing if a young player is playing in team which doesn't play to his strengths. Depending on his attitude and his hunger to succeed it could toughen him up for the future.

I don't agree personally. He needs collective football regularly. Millwall play a fairly direct style of football which will mean he will get to see alot of the ball whether that be holding it up or running behind etc.
I think this is a spot on move for him for a side that will get the very best out of him. Time to show your worth Troy

Hmmm I dunno I think certain positions like Strikers, CBs and box to box mids can get away with any playing style and minutes are more important
I have watched Millwall quite a lot as they are my second team.
Under Neil Harris they played very direct football but now they have Gary Rowett they do pass the ball a lot more although they are still fairly direct. I suppose not too different to Mourinho!
The two strikers they have are Smith who is a big lump so good in the air but not very mobile and they have Bradshaw who is more mobile but doesn't really score many goals.
So I would expect Parrott to be given plenty of minutes in the season.
