Good player but I’d have been underwhelmed if we’d have signed him.
no he is decent and can become even better specially as CB under Pep
That's 60mil spent while people in Manchester are dying due to the latest covid19 spike, or even in the best case scenario, are struggling financially due to the lockdown measures put in place due to the latest spike.

Better not check the amount when we sign Sancho then
Really, that was talked about, so naturally I thought it wasn't true.
Theyre still after 4 more apparently. Another CB, LB, D Silva and Aguero replacements

Decent CB, nothing more. Don’t think he’ll take them to another level defensively but gets out of trouble a lot due to his pace. Will suit their high line but can’t seem him making them any more solid tbh.
I remember when Rashford took his soul. This signing doesn’t worry me.

Bit rich from an Arsenal fan, no? Hasn't your club just made 50 people redundant at the same time as trying to sign Willian and tying Aubameyang down to 250,000 a week contracts?
Brilliant defender and proper captain material. Perfect replacement for Kompany, will definitely do well at City. I'm surprised Chelsea refused to exercise their buy-back option, he is miles better than those jokers Rudiger and Zouma and would have perfectly partnered Azpi. Can play FB and CB. Good fee for City too.

Ouch. Not wrong either.
And, They’re not trying to spend a lot of money on a world-class player.

Pique, Jerome Boateng yep Pep has done it before.
Thing with Pep is he actually improves players and there is lot of evidence of that.
We all forget that the centurions has Otamendi in defence. Another one to add to the list 🙂

You can also add a bunch of FB's to that list, like Alaba, Lahm, Alves, Maxwell, Adriano. He was obviously not teaching all those guys how to tackle or head a ball, but how to find/create space and play pass & move.
At the end of his stints at those clubs, they all could easily play and excell in midfield and I believe Pep is also gonna play Ake more in midfield, as I feel he's a bit wasted in defense.
