Nope, didn't we just rid ourself of a half million a week contract
Nah, massive wages and eternally injured.
Why not?
We're famous for wasting a load of money.
Be a classic Ed signing
With Real potentially paying a large portion of his wages I'd say definitely. It would most likely be a loan so if he doesn't work out then we could end it. He is still top class, would get the love from our fans (unlike in Madrid) and he is a proven match winner that can help the young squad.
That being said, Messi could also be available! So which should we go for?
No thanks.
There is a reason why he isn’t playing for Real and it is called being poor.
Didn’t realise we were entering into the PGA tour next season
Not for me, let him carry on his little public spat with Real, they’re a good match
If Sancho doesn’t happen I certainly won’t lose any sleep, Greenwood is developing nicely
We should really be focusing on a new partner for Slabz and a DM who can cover some ground quickly
We’ve just got rid of the Chilean Bale, we don’t need the Welsh one.
Awful attitude toward his current employer, and frequently injured.
Some of the quotes from pundits that know him sound like there is more to it than him just throwing a stop. Something between him and ZZ from his first managerial stint. Having watched the Anelka documentary I have more sympathy for Bale. Under someone like Ole who would appreciate him and throw an ar around him, he could be back to his best. Still a top player.
Sanchez has left and did try.
Bale could have left last year, yet Real got greedy and treated him poorly. I'm loving the fact Real are being taken for a ride.
He’s not a top player anymore. And he doesn’t care about playing football, he just wants to get paid. Ole wouldn’t appreciate that, it’s the antithesis of what he wants at the club.
Yes - If any of the lads need a golfing buddy.
No - to anything else.
If it was the Bale from about 4 years ago I’d tell Sancho to fack off, but not this Bale.
Bale's addition will not work with this new United mentality
Clubs should learn a lesson or two from the likes of Bale and Sanchez...and I thought Ozil was the worst of them all !!
People saying he's still a top player?
How exactly do you know... He never feckin plays
This seems like a Robb article... Always thinking that 29 year old isn't done yet.
Not read any of the previous comments on this thread. Bale clearly doesn't give a shoot about playing to the best of his abilities or playing at the highest level. No point in even considering signing him. He may find his antics funny lately, but it's so poor. He's embarrassed himself. Not that he cares
Massive wages injury prone didn’t he say he prefers golf to football now

He’s always preferred gold
On loan, yes. Sure with a point to prove he’d still be an asset to any Pl club. I wouldn’t want to burden the club with £600k a week on a player at his age though.
Whatever happens, he’ll be a Madrid player until his contract ends. If they’re smart spurs will get him in on loan.
He doesn’t have a point to prove. If he did he’d be playing football instead of golf.

Two sides to the story though. Can’t blame him for not eating to up a £60m a year contract.
