Bad optics.

Spurs provide a free facility to the council during lockdown.

Headline is that a relatively small additional cost incurred as a result of the councils requirements on security and cleaning is passed on....to the council.

Spurs fans outraged.

Slow news day....

Here is a fact. Spurs paid around £40m in tax last year which more than most other prem clubs. Charging the council £33,000 is pocket change. Don't forget we gave Middlesex hospital space too. We do more than enough for the community. Like I said Levy should charge them more.

Some of you lot need to get off your soap box and instead of fueling your agenda against Levy, channel your negative energy to Boris and co instead.

So while spurs went above and beyond to help the local council, they are in the wrong for asking for a security/cleaning payment? Despite everything else being free?

Frankly, yes.

It’s f*cking miserly.

Would you have been happier if we didn’t do anything then and didn’t charge the council?

I’d be happier if we didn’t charge anything. It’s peanuts to Levy.

Getting shredded in the press and rightly so.

Either do something for charity or don’t f*cking bother.

Miserly unt.

The club didn't charge them anything. It was free to use. The council requested additional services, and the fees were passed on to them for those services.

Not a penny went to the club as a result, therefore we haven't charged them for the stadium/car park use.

Yeah spurs have made no money out of this. It’s like someone driving to the Red Cross to donate £100,000 and then getting their work to reimburse the taxi fare and everyone getting mad

No it isn’t.

Stop trying to defend the indefensible.

I honestly don’t understand what you’re problem is with this?

We gave them the location free off charge and paid costs to run it.

Then the extra stuff the council ordered and got charged for they paid for.

The club never charged them a penny
