New GK surely?

Why is a Jose fan predicting the Chelsea team?

Not sure why you’ve bent over backwards to get CHO into the side.

It is near impossible for me to predict our side next season. Too many variables right now.
- CB partnership?
- How

There aren't any goalkeepers good enough that are available. I'd rather we wait than spend like 30-40m on someone we'd need to replace after a couple of years.

We have to find a place for CHO in the team and I think this formation could work if Kante adapts to the role he would have in the team.

Gone well under the radar how much of a flop Kepa has been comforting how much they paid for him.

Kepa may actually be the biggest PL flop of all time. I don't think there are any other 80m+ flops in PL history.

That is 12 players

From what I hear Andre Onana to Chelsea is a dead cert.

Would be great news for you if true, excellent keeper.

Weren't Bayern going to spend 40m on him? If we don't play him, someone else will.

I hope so, I think he'd be an excellent fit for us and he wouldn't cost the earth either. Seems like the obvious choice to me.

Can I ask where you heard it?

"Can I ask where you heard it?"

I live in Amsterdam for my job!

He's excellent at every aspect of keeping bar sweeping, he does tend to get caught in no man's land in that regard a bit too often.

Incredible shot stopper and top notch distribution. He's also great at commanding his area, he has an unorthodox way of doing it which has given the false perception he's a bit of a flapper but that couldn't be further from the truth.

In my opinion from watching him, only Alison will be better than him if he goes to the PL.

Genius only by name....Hudson Odoi is not two players

'Caballero
James Rudiger Zouma Chilwell
Kante
Hudson Odoi Ziyech Mount Pulisic
Werner'

Pulisic will miss the start of the season (injured), which could very well prove to be detrimental to his place in the team.

There's every chance the new attacking signings hit the ground-running and obviously a fit sharp Hudson-Odoi will now have his first pre-season under Frank to further boost his chances of becoming an established starter.

Hudson-Odoi is far and away our best and most creative attacking outlet at present...the general standard of his vision/speed of thought, playmaking ability, decision-making, eye of the needle of passes and variation in switching of play (which has been on display more so this season, than last season) is exquisite. Elite.

Unrivalled ability at creating big chances & key passes, amongst our current attackers (Ziyech & Havertz will be a threat to that in upcoming season).
Dribbling ability goes without saying, dribbling supremo.

Important that he rediscovers the acceleration & scoring touch that he had before injuries, under the previous manager.
Goal scored against Bayern was a nice finish to plant a seed in Franks' head...

That sort of unique finishing that I've grown accustomed to, watching Callum.
Little to no backlift shooting technique, back of the net. Textbook. One of a kind.

Provided Callum stays fit in upcoming season...looking forward to seeing the evolution of our underrated generational talent, already seen how impactful his PL & especially CL (Ajax twice, Lille, Bayern) performances have been this season, building on from last season.
Most of those contributions were when he was nowhere near optimal fitness.

Easy to see why he was heavily pursued by Bayern (to the point that they were willing to pay a record fee at the time for a teenager in his final year of contract) and fast-tracked into senior squad at international & club level, without loan.

I can see a 4231/433 hybrid playing-out next season as the predominant formation that Frank will deploy, similar to how Bayern set-up.

Assuming signing Havertz is a drawn-out process (I don't believe it will be)...

Lineup:

New GK
James Christensen CB New LB
Ziyech Kante Mount
Odoi Tammy Werner
