Honesty cannot make my mind up? Go between thinking out forwards will win it to feeling a defender will have a brain fart and lose us it?
Tough call, think it will be fairly tight and not many goals in it
Probs end up 5-4
I think it'll be a tight match. I just hope we have the energy against them to make it very difficult.
I wouldn't be averse to holding back some of our players and starting some high energy players to start with. Maybe Lingard for Rashford so that Marcus has more space in the second half as the game opens up.
I suspect Ole will go with tried and tested but we'll see. I do think we'll get chances though so just need to take them.
Very close and I have a feeling we might come unstuck. I think it will be 1-0, one way or the other, or possibly a penalty shoot-out. We're going to be in for some fun on these boards if United lose on penalties
At least we don’t have Fellaini starting for us tonight, I’m very nervous but confident at the same time.

Wasn't he the last Manchester United player to score in a European semi-final?
If we play at our best they won’t be able to cope with us. They have players who can cause us problems, but we have the ability to brush them aside with ease.
My concern is that we’ve looked lethargic for half a dozen games now.

Yeah if I remember correctly.
I genuinely believe we will lose tonight, and quite comfortably.
Like some of you have said, we have been poor for a while now, our record against Spanish sides is horrendous and Europa League to them is everything.
I'm certain they will have more of the ball since we have yet to find a way to dominate the midfield with the Matic/Pogba/Bruno trident, but that may end up suiting us
I’m hoping 6 days rest will see us have the energy to go and press and hit them hard and fast when we win it back. We really need to start fast and not let them dictate play.
I was at the second leg when they knocked us out of the CL under Jose. I just hope we have a much better showing than that one, as it was atrocious.
Going to be tight but optimistic we’ll do it. 2-1!
If Ole sets up with his tried and tested big game XI (5-3-2 with James up front) I probably won’t even bother watching
I think it may depend on how the oppo set up.
They’ll enjoy a fair bit of possession imo and if that is high up the pitch then we could hurt them.
Don't know. We tend to struggle against Spanish sides and i have a feeling we might lose.
Its nice to have not much riding on it though - tension wouldve been unbearable if CL footy was riding on this
I think we’ll lose, we’ve looked tired and in need of a break for a while now.
If we’re to win I think Fernandes will need to get back tk his best and our attackers will need finish much better than the last outing.
It is true that we’ve looked tired - I wouldn’t actually care if we sacked off the competition and just prepared for next season.

At the risk of tempting fate - and I think we might well lose tonight - when did we last put out our strongest 11 and "lose comfortably"? I see that Sevilla are on a 19 (?) game unbeaten streak, but with our first 11 on the pitch I don't think we've lost in 20 odd games.
And if Wolves could take a penalty they might well have beaten them the other night.
I think it will be close, but I never seem to get nervy before a Ropey game.
You should play the ball in the channels for Rashford and Greenwood to move their cbs out of position.
Banega is a good passer but very slow and if you can put pressure on him like France did in the 2018 WC you will stop their link to their attackers.
We need a trophy so we must go all out
Don't know. We tend to struggle against Spanish sides and i have a feeling we might lose.
.....
I think it will be like the FA Cup semi and we will be comfortably beat.
I hope I am wrong but most of our players just look knackered. Our club seriously has to look at the medical staff and the training team to get this sorted out.
It’s a game we should be winning.
Sevilla are no great shakes but our record vs Spanish sides has been atrocious for over a decade now.
Pretty much like everyone else, I'd be surprised if we won. Our form and performance levels have dipped off a fair bit and the overall quality in depth of the squad has meant an over-reliance on certain players.
That said, we made an awful lot of very good chances against Copenhagen and looked dangerous, so with the games not coming quite so thick and fast, we might see an upward turn on form.
Who knows how Seville have started after lock down, certainly not me!
Hopefully we have had our weetabix this morning and some red bulls before kick off. If we can get our energy back, we'll likely win.

This. We've had issues with fitness and conditioning for years, decades even! Even when we were winning league titles in the late noughties, we still tended to dip in form in the latter stages of the season and it hasn't changed since

To be fair I'm sure most teams see their form wobble later in a season due to fitness, injuries, pressure and so on, it's just that we're only really focusing on the team that we support. Fans of other teams a re probably saying similar of their own side.
I think our current team - and the ones of the last few years - have probably lacked in fitness (and been hit by injuries) a little, though ultimately we don't know for sure as we haven't access to the fitness data. What we do know is that strength in depth is poor, meaning the overplaying of key players, and we probably lack some serial winners in the side that can get a team over the line at the business end of a season.
